First id like to say with good management i see this as a good spot. The food has potential but the service causes you to get your food late and cold sat for 30 min without a refill also asked for a appetizer and never received it. I definitely will try again but i need better effort on the employees part.

Location can use a detail cleaning. Restrooms need to be cleaned and remove smell. Food is good and very flavorful. Be prepared to wait for your food…service is a bit slow (food took about 30 mins to come out). Was asked several times if everything was ok and if anything was needed. Overall not a bad place with decent pricing and good food.

The Jamaica was very bitter/too sweet, the tea had a bad taste, the flour tortilla with fajita and cheese was very hard and too toasted and should’ve been softer. The worst thing is the bistec tacos tasted off and I found a hair in them(they took them off the bill so I appreciate that) but they gave me diarrhea and made me feel nauseous and I threw up the next morning. Omg.. one of the best Menudo and platter plate we had in Brownsville. This place is authentic food. If you don’t speak Spanish or can read it. It okay. They have photo. Which made it so easy to pick what we want to eat. The place was pack and it pack because it that good! Highly recommend!

Place is stale, i ordered the entomatadas and they were salty, the lemonade tasted like they added a few drops of lemon, 1 pound of sugar, and a few drops of water, my woman got the agua de melon and it tasted like of they added milk when mixing, the liquid itself looked very milky and tasted weird. The rice was watery, the refried beans were half assed and watery too. Sad to see this place declining, but i dont think im going for a while

Super disappointed with customer service I really like this restaurant,I usually have a good customer service but this time my waiter did came to ask if I needed anything the smell of fabulous,was awful so strong didn’t enjoy my food it was not crowded so I didn’t understand why my waiter never came to check if I needed something this restaurant it’s an oldie of Brownsville for many years I don’t know if ill come back again what a disappointment
