Food is amazing here, would highly recommend it, very well cooked and tastes amazing we ordered numerous things, I am glad they will open a location on Germantown pkwy, because they need the space and better area. The food is amazing and the tea they give out for free inside there is some of the best tea I tried and I’m Middle Eastern.

I heard about this place from my Yemeni friend. At last decided to hit the place for dinner. We came for the dinner. Overall, the food is pretty good here, but the customer service is worst. So when we both the girls came inside, nobody was there to attend us. We stood for a while, and then decided to walk straight at the counter. There was a guy, quite young at age showed us a table. We sat and then again nobody came to take any order. We walked to the counter and gave the orders, and even had to ask for the glasses of water! We started with coffee. The coffee was decent, however extremely sweet for me. We ordered a sampler platter as an appetizer, which was great. The food was good, so was the portion size. The freshly baked tandoori roti ( bread) was terrific. In the main entree we ordered a plate of rice with two kinds of meat (chicken and beef). The aromatic rice with the spicy meat was terrific. The amount was pretty good for us. There were many options written as dessert, however only baklava was available. We ordered a plate that comes with two pieces. The baklava was decent, however, not the best one that I have had. I don’t have much complaints about the food but the customer service was terrible. Even when the final check arrived, the prices not properly billed. The prices for the coffee was overly charged . However, we were in a hurry and just paid that without confronting.

The place is obscure and the food is okay compared to other middle eastern restaurants in Memphis. No doubt their bread is THE BEST TANDOOR BREAD you will find in the city but talking about the whole experience, I dont think this is a place I would go for having a nice dinner with my date or a good friend or someone I am trying to impress. Service can be improved by a lot, I was never asked for water and the waitress never checked in me once I ordered. She was the only waitress in n the restaurant and looked fairly busy all the time.

Hands down the BEST food anywhere! Amazing and very fresh food! Let’s begin with the fresh bread, oh my goodness the best I’ve ever had. We had Labaneh and it was so fluffy and delicious. We also ordered the Lamb Haneeth and the Molokhia and rice. One of the best meals I’ve ever had. The lady that waited on us was so sweet! We will be back every single time we come to Memphis! The best Arabic Mediterranean food anywhere! Everyone needs to eat here atleast once!

Went there because my wife recommended it. But arrived and had nothing my wife came to eat. Ordered the shawarma for me and my son to go. Got our meal and left. Got home and the shawarma was dry and almost uneatable. That was after waiting 5 min after our food was on the countertop waiting. First time trying Shawarma. Never again

The food and service was so good. The facility was bright, clean and easy for conversation. The prices were reasonable and the food again, was delicious. Tastier than any Mediterranean/middle eastern food I had in the past. I will recommend this place because of its quality food, drink and service. When I return, I’ll get the lamb broth soup and gyro sandwich. The fresh juice (beet and carrot) really made the experience enjoyable and filling. If you have the chance to try this place, take it.

This is a quote on quote “blackened salmon.” Requested new order. Waitress came back with the same food & said this is how it was supposed to be. Her thumb was black, meaning she had her hand on my plate. Told her I’d like a new one but with less time in the oven. She brought a new one with an attitude and said it’s still the same thing, which it wasn’t bc my salmon was much lighter. Overall, i didn’t enjoy my service.
