We put in an order for 2 cheeseburgers and fries. We picked it up at our pickup time and we had an 8 min drive home. The burgers were not correctly made. The cheeseburgers were completely dehydrated and the fries were rock hard and ice cold. There is no way these items were made fresh. I called and requested a manager and the girl who answered the stated, ” Well can I ask why” in a very rude tone. The manager came to the line, he wasn’t as rude as the girl who answered the phone, but he wasn’t very helpful. Definitely a 1 and done for me.

A now retired coworker (Hi Mike!) used to rave about this place before he moved south. He wasn’t wrong. Excellent burgers, and my wife loved her salad.

Very cute café w/ outdoor seating. Simple menu with bar favorites and the prices are great!!! Local staple since 1966. Definitely recommend for a yummy lunch. Fries were crispy and the chicken tenders were very juicy and tender. The sweet tea had a hint of lemon.

Small town, chill vibe. The burgers are good and priced right. Service is slow and inattentive

While definitely being a no frills restaurant, the food and service did not reflect that. You can’t beat the prices, and the servers were Johnny on the spot at all times. Their burgers are right up there with any in the city. Fry’s came out hot and crispy. Check their website for daily specials, which make an inexpensive menu even cheaper. Do not expect fine china and gold plated silverware.

After hearing about Quatman burgers for many years, I finally stopped in for lunch to try one. The cheeseburger is very simple, like you might get at a friend’s cookout. There was nothing really outstanding about it, and I thought it lacked a crispy char to bring out the beef flavor. Coke is served in cans, so no free pop refills.
Our service was excellent: warm, friendly and efficient. You feel a bit like you’re going back in time at this no-frills cafe. Maybe that’s all you need here.

When I walked in I was confused if it was a seat yourself situation or wait to be seated so I sat at the bar. I was greeted by a man and I asked him if there were any specials that day and he said “no”. I asked if they had Mic Ultra on tap and he said “only in bottles”. I got the Mic Ultra and a Pepsi and looked at the menu that I had to request. At that moment I seen they did have a Saturday special. I ordered the special for the day. Once my food was delivered they never came back to check on me, I was glad I ordered 2 beverages at that point. The food was really good, but the service was not. The cheeseburger was an excellent size for the price. It was full of flavor and juices. The fries were cooked perfectly and were shoestring style. At the time I was there it was not busy, maybe 25 all together (inside/outside). Since the food was a special that day it came with fries and a drink.

This was my first visit, and I was a little bit worried it’d be a super local joint that would be weird for a newcomer. Thankfully I was wrong! This place is the most homey restaurant I’ve been to in my new neighborhood. I wish I had gotten my waitresses name to add to this review because she was an absolute sweetheart! 11$ for a pulled pork sandwich, fries, and a yuengling on draft??? This place is will be my go-to hangover spot until they put my cold dead body in the ground. Hats off to the chef, the wait staff, and the owners. To say I was pleasantly surprised is a gross understatement. Long live the Quatman Cafe.
