Lived in Northern Minnesota all my life. Perkins WAS always good Food and service. But WOW today and past few times the Food quality and service (especially) has diminished greatly since our first encounter and experience. I ordered breakfast ham & cheese omelette mine came with no cheese on the inside and a sprinkle on the outside. I come back because they used to be really cheesy not just a flat. My husband ordered the “tremendous twelve” but got the “Really sad eight” – Pancakes never arrived. The past 3 times they have missed his pancakes. We each ordered coffee 10-15 minutes waiting for coffee and the thermos arrived with 2 1/2 cups. We waited our entire time there for our server to come back by to let her know about the pancakes and needing fresh coffee. We didn’t see her until she brought us our bill after about 20 after we had already finished and have been waiting for coffee or pancakes. So I guess I wanted to share that the food we received in the service we received was just not what we expected time after time from Perkins but is apparently the new standard. I suggested from now on we just go someplace else since this was our third time actually not getting pancakes and receiving poor service. So we’re going to go to Lazy Jack’s next weekend for breakfast. My husband said “Less food and less service – is not a good formula for keeping repeat customers”. I declined the past few times to say anything about the poor service and quality of food, but I feel now that if I don’t say something about it it’s going to continue (not for us – we made our choice) but for others who hope to have a good experience “going out for a meal”.

Good food. Waited a little longer on the food. Wonderful staff. Elise was extremely polite and fun to conversate with. My nephew had a salad my wife had the chicken strips so did my son and i had this amazing chicken tortilla skillet.

I enjoyed eating at this Perkins the wait staff was super friendly and the food was amazing. Food was served in a timely manner, I have been to many other Perkins throughout Minnesota and this one is by far my favorite.

It’s exactly what you’d expect from a Perkins. Servers working hard to get everything as it should be. We ordered, waited a bit, and the food was delicious and worth the wait. Prices have gone up of course which is unfortunate but understandable.

I stopped in to pick it up a piece of pie. The staff member disappeared to the back for about five minutes, came back quickly said “here’s your pie. Have a good night.”
And then literally rushed away before I had to a chance to say anything.
It struck me as odd, I opened the package, and you will see the most pathetic looking dessert I have ever seen. I didn’t bother waiting for her to reappear, I just left and laughed.
Don’t bother going here.

Visited Perkins 6/7/24 at around 10 PM. Ordered French toast. Looked great until you taste the burnt. Was going to send it back but hey, if the cook is going to knowingly serve burnt food, don’t want to risk it, not worth the hassle. I could go into how the dining area was a mess. What a complete waste of money.

Very classic Midwestern menu but made pretty well, I had a steak with fries corn and shrimp, a little expensive for the size of steak but it does come with 2 sides included in the price
Very nice chocolate shake
Server was a little confused when we asked for extra plates for our appetizers since we were sharing between us and for 3 adults she brought 2 plates which was a little weird but she did look very confused maybe it’s a cultural thing
All in all pleasant experience would visit again
