The pizza was the best thing we had. It isn’t Neapolitan, since Neapolitan crust is more airy and soft with a light crunch. This one is closer to a New York style pizza with a crisp bottom and a crunchy crust, and it was really good.
We also ordered the fettuccine Alfredo. It was simple but good. Our server mentioned that they bring dishes out as soon as they’re hot, so the table can share everything, which was helpful to know.
Overall the food is fresh and enjoyable. It’s not the type of place where anything completely blows you away, but you also won’t leave disappointed. A solid choice for a casual dinner.
Our server, Frenendo, was so sweet and friendly, he made the experience even better with his warm energy and great service.
For food, everything was delicious!
The Margherita pizza crust was too good — perfectly crispy and flavorful.
The gnocchi was absolutely awesome.
The penne alla vodka was really good and super comforting.
But the real star of the night was the torta al cioccolato, hands down our favorite dessert. We loved it the most!
Definitely a great spot for group dinners in Chicago. Can’t wait to go back
The service is attentive and fast. The environment is cozy and matches perfectly the idea of an italian restaurant.
Prices for the main dishes are fair.
Overall, great place for a special celebration like Valentine’s Day.
Stopped in for lunch at Quartino on State Street and had an outstanding experience. The table bread alone was a great start — warm, flavorful, and even better with the fun assortment of cheeses, balsamic, and olive oil they provide.
I ordered the arugula salad and the San Daniele arugula pizza, and both were excellent. The salad was incredibly refreshing, packed with farm-fresh ingredients and great texture from the nuts and citrus. The pizza was the real standout — absolutely loaded with toppings, with silky prosciutto, plenty of fresh arugula, and a perfectly airy, flavorful dough that really impressed me.
Great atmosphere, great service, and top-quality food. I’ll definitely be back!
