A friend recommended this place. Very happy they did. Started off with two of the best Old Fashioned drinks. Had the meatballs as an appetizer and their bread. Both were amazing. I had the Scarpiello with chicken and my wife had the Vodka Poccante` with breaded chicken. Very good choices.

We came in for our anniversary, and over all we’re quite disappointed. The good: The service, Eric was wonderful. The atmosphere, even the temperature was perfect. Clean. Beautiful design. The music allows conversation. The bread with the butter – heaven. The bad: The NY strip steak was so meh, we added salt throughout with every bite.. asked for medium – came well done. Eaten only because a cow died for this. 3.5/10. The puree was lumpy, kitchen staff should head down to NYC and learn from Pastis / Miriam on how a puree should be prepared. Vodka Picante pasta – sauce was great, but this pasta is not freshly made as stated in their website – this came out of a bag. If it isn’t its even worse, it tastes like a cheap bagged pasta. The coke was fountain and half flat… $4 for a glass of 3/4 ice without refills is a shameful. The ugly: I shouldn’t be scrubbing the toilet after your staff. If there’s something to go back for – perhaps worth checking out the pizza since the bread was so good.

This was our third time here and probably our last. They were busy this night so service was slow, which is understandable. Our mains came out and we decided to order an app cuz we figured we’d still be hungry. The meal was ok but had multiple unanswered drink requests. 20 min after we finished our mains the app is still not out. And the drink we ordered 10 min ago is also not out. So we figured no biggie. Let’s just get the check and have them take the stuff we did not get off. Instead they said they could only take the app off and gave us the drink with the check and made us pay for it. We didn’t want the drink anymore and after a night of shitty service (Plenty of other little things not mentioned here) this was the last straw. Whoever was managing this place was doing a poor job tonight.

Under staffed and no care for customers who have been patient.

Great little restaurant. We live in Stamford and were looking for a place to eat one night while our college son was home for break. Heard about it and decided to walk by and try it. I didn’t think I was going to get in because it’s not that large but they had a table for four and seated us right away. I loved it!! Food was great, our server was awesome, I don’t know her name, which I did, regret not asking but she was sweet and fun. Food was great, price was slightly high but reasonable, not absurd or overpriced at all. Will definitely go back. I enjoyed the atmosphere. Overall a fun place.

This was the Negroni. $16 for this. It’s honestly disrespectful. Food was meh and the service was legitimately bad. No shade to the wait staff but it’s just not a well run establishment. Place was dead on a Wednesday and it took 1:20 just to receive our entree. Overpriced, underdelivered. There are 50 better options in the area.

The chef made sure everything was safe for us, two of us have celiac and I am super sensitive to cross contamination. The fresh gluten free pizza crust was one of the top 3 I have had in the United States. Amazingly delicious ! Plus we got gluten free freshly made bread to go with the appetizer.
The Sicilian wine was fantastic!
I can’t wait to go back as long as chef Pepe is there! The wait staff was excellent and attentive too!

We had a terrible experience at Quartiere. The food was ok, not exceptional (brussel sprouts were tasty, shrimp was “fishy” according to my friend, meatballs were pretty good, main courses of chicken, hangar steak, and pizza were good). The gluten free pizza crust was fine but not the best I’ve had in this area.

The biggest problem was the service. It took forever to get our initial drink order and after ~20 minutes the server came to tell us they were out of key ingredients and we needed to order something else (why did it take 20 minutes to learn they were out of a menu item?). It was also apparent that the server did not know the menu or food offerings, as she had to go back and check with the kitchen and the bar whenever each of us ordered a menu item. She also explained that she “had a bad memory” so she often had to return to double check what we had ordered (no she did not write anything down).

We ordered two pizzas and once our pizzas arrived it was clear one of the pizzas was incorrect (soppressata instead of pancetta). We asked the other server who brought it out to fix the pizza and he said he could bring us pancetta on the side. We explained we wanted a new correct pizza and he said it was correct (that the soppressata was actually pancetta). We explained that the other pizza we ordered had soppressata so the incorrect pizza couldn’t be pancetta because they both had soppressata on them. He said he could either bring us pancetta on the side or we could consider the sopressata on the wrong pizza to actually be pancetta (what????). He even asked the chef to come out and tell us the soppressata was pretty much pancetta.

Eventually our main/original server came over after observing our frustration and acknowledged that the soppressata was indeed NOT pancetta and they would fix us a new pizza.
Eventually the manager came over and “comped” us a “side of pancetta” and a round of drinks for our trouble. The server who tried to gaslight us into thinking soppressata was pancetta apologized.

The entire experience has completely turned me off of Quartiere. The food is fine but not good enough for the service to be so awful. Will not be eating here again, nor would I recommend it to anyone else.

Love this spot for dinner! Absolutely delicious. The food is amazing and restaurant space is cozy and intimate. We love eating here and every dish has been a knock out. It’s an adults only restaurant and it can be quite loud inside but it’s worth it! Cocktails are amazing as well and there’s a great bar area.

I am incredibly disappointed with this place. While the atmosphere was warm and welcoming on a cold night. But that is where the benefits of this location ends. The service was incredibly slow we ordered a bottle of wine which was finished before cocktails were served. Food orders went in – small plates and pizzas took 1hour. with very few servers coming back around to ask for drink orders. We then ordered a final round of drinks and food at the same time…another hour later they didnt even put the food order in. Some how a carbonara came out in 3 minutes. The final straw was the accidentally ( and im not mad about that) breaking a full beer and getting it all over my jacket. They offered to cover my drinks but had not intent had i not asked for a manager. $552 later most of the food was going to be left but was eaten out of guilt for food waste. This was a miserable showing for Italian and Stamford, CT. I am sure you could find a better meal near by no questions asked.
