The best chicken phở!

The menu offers a variety of chicken dishes like phở, rice, udon noodles, and clear noodles. The chicken is always cooked nicely, and I highly recommend the chicken breast cut since it offers the most meat. Their fish sauce is one of the best and it comes with every order!

* Chicken Noodle Soup with Chicken Breast: 9/10 – good portion, and the chicken was incredibly tender
* Liver and Gizzard (Side Dish): 10/10 – so delicious

I haven’t been back since they relocated, but the workers are all the same from the previous location. Unfortunately, we had to wait about 30-45 minutes after being seated because my parents ordered the very popular leg cut. It’s located in a small plaza that’s usually empty, so parking should be easy. The interior is quite small, unfortunately, so you most likely will have to wait for a table if it’s crowded.

A big downside to the restaurant is that they don’t give itemized receipts, and there are some items that aren’t included on the menu. The additional plate of liver and gizzard was $9.99, and each cup of tea was $2, but the menu didn’t include that at all. They basically just give you the ticket that the waitress took your order on, so you have no idea how much anything is unless you took a picture of the menu.

Even so, our experience was pretty good! ☺️

If you do go, go early because they are popular!

The restaurant is small but has plenty of tables. Although they fill very fast! The servers mostly speak no English to very broken English.

This restaurant specializes in chicken. Chicken and rice, chicken and noodles… chicken. Their cuts are chicken breast, leg or wings. Note that only one person at your table can order wings. The day we went there was a half hour wait for legs. So essentially one person could order wings and the others pretty much had to order breast pieces. The broth is very yummy. The chicken is flavorless so you need sauce. Their Hainan chicken sauce is pretty yummy but their Hainan rice is also pretty flavorless. I did add chili.

Hands down best chicken pho in town, it’s their specialty and the only type you’ll find. Food is super delicious and you can tell because they’re always super busy! So, service naturally gets backed up so don’t get mad cuz you’re here to eat PHO. Highly recommend for yummy chicken pho!

Reading all of the negative reviews we decided to give this place a try. Pho ga is really good and the chicken was really good also. I like their ginger sauce that you dip the chicken in. Service here is not really good because they don’t have worker. Only 1 waitress for the whole entire place. There are a lot of people eat here looks like local. Come here early because there will be along wait if you don’t .

Store open 9 am. I Walked in at 9:30, ordered “phở cánh gà”, waitress said no more “cánh gà”. Seeing next table having “lòng gà” just served, I ordered “phở lòng gà”, waitress said “please have phở đùi or ức gà, not having enough lòng gà”. What kind of service is this ???? I just walked out. This business show zero care for customers at all. Do not come here or you will be treated teribly.

Best chicken pho I can think of in OC. It’s very vietnamese so ya don’t expect too much with the restaurant itself. Get the noodles over rice. Dark meat is the most popular but I like breast better because it’s meatier. Get the fat big noodle!

The restaurant is known for chicken soup. The chicken are fresh and the dipping sauce really brings out the flavors. The pho ga broth seems to be missing something. Not as flavorful and deep as i had hoped. Overall, it’ll satisfy your craving. Could be a long wait and they do run out of stuffs.

If you would like to try real Pho Ga (chicken noodle soup), this is it. The broth is actually taste/smell like the authentic chicken soup unlike many other Pho restaurants where they use one type of “beef broth” for all of their soups, pho ga included. They are CROWDED so expected a long wait specially during the busy hours (lunch + dinner). However, once you are seated inside, they serve pretty fast. They just remodeled so the inside is pretty clean and organized. This is a handicap friendly facility. Plenty of parking spaces in the same business plaza. They have inside rest room for customers only.

The chicken broth, once a highlight, lacked its previous charm and depth of flavor. The chicken itself was passable, but the overall magic of the meal just wasn’t there. On top of that, the service was disappointingly subpar. Here’s hoping they can recapture the excellence they once had.
