The menu offers a variety of chicken dishes like phở, rice, udon noodles, and clear noodles. The chicken is always cooked nicely, and I highly recommend the chicken breast cut since it offers the most meat. Their fish sauce is one of the best and it comes with every order!
* Chicken Noodle Soup with Chicken Breast: 9/10 – good portion, and the chicken was incredibly tender
* Liver and Gizzard (Side Dish): 10/10 – so delicious
I haven’t been back since they relocated, but the workers are all the same from the previous location. Unfortunately, we had to wait about 30-45 minutes after being seated because my parents ordered the very popular leg cut. It’s located in a small plaza that’s usually empty, so parking should be easy. The interior is quite small, unfortunately, so you most likely will have to wait for a table if it’s crowded.
A big downside to the restaurant is that they don’t give itemized receipts, and there are some items that aren’t included on the menu. The additional plate of liver and gizzard was $9.99, and each cup of tea was $2, but the menu didn’t include that at all. They basically just give you the ticket that the waitress took your order on, so you have no idea how much anything is unless you took a picture of the menu.
Even so, our experience was pretty good! ☺️
The restaurant is small but has plenty of tables. Although they fill very fast! The servers mostly speak no English to very broken English.
This restaurant specializes in chicken. Chicken and rice, chicken and noodles… chicken. Their cuts are chicken breast, leg or wings. Note that only one person at your table can order wings. The day we went there was a half hour wait for legs. So essentially one person could order wings and the others pretty much had to order breast pieces. The broth is very yummy. The chicken is flavorless so you need sauce. Their Hainan chicken sauce is pretty yummy but their Hainan rice is also pretty flavorless. I did add chili.
