Very nice campground! Love the beach and splash pad area for the kids. They have on site tubing and offer a shuttle service to bring you back. The river was extremely low when we went so I would suggest checking the river levels before you go (unless you want to walk the whole time). The only negative I have is that the campsites are pretty small and close together, but it wasn’t an issue. Our neighbors were pretty awesome!

been eating here since like 2006, sad to see how they treat people nowadays. Went recently and nobody was wearing a mask, not even servers, and they had a large group of people crowded together watching a TV (still no masks). Paid for food and threw it away, might as well eat a plague rat at that point. Even if their food is good I don’t want my family to get sick and/or die for it because they were uncaring. Staff was great and accommodating btw. Do better owners, because lives are one the line.

Was out visiting my sister and went to Skipaway for breakfast. They had a buffet setup. Went and got my food and found metal shavings in it called the waitress over to my table and she went oh would you like a different plate of food ? I was like no !!! She took the plate back to the kitchen and never came back to the table. I went to checkout and the girl behind the register ask how everything was and I said didn’t the waitress tell you that there was metal shavings in my food and she said no and that not good. So she knocked off my food and charged me $20.00 for my guests. Very disappointed and will never go back.

I have been to Skipaway two times durning fourth of July and have have also been here when it wasn’t fourth of July and it was still fun. There is a lot of things to do here for kids like mini golf, movies, and then the big pond. I would suggest coming here it is a whole lot of fun for kids and adults.
