Disclaimer I am not a huge seafood fan, came here because my wife loves seafood. We stopped in for a quick bite and a beer. The staff was friendly and the service was fast. I had the fish tacos which I thought were just okay (see disclaimer) but I can tell you the entire dish lacked seasoning and flavor which would bring the dish up… it was just okay. My wife had the fried oysters and said they were good, and tasted fresh, other than that unremarkable. She wants to go back and try the fresh oysters so I’ll update the review after that. When she does I think I’ll just have a beer

An extraordinary experience! Unique, casual, open air dining at the pier. Pick your live seafood from a tank and they will steam it for you. Premade specialties are ready to be plated. Beer, water, and sodas served. Mallets for cracking crab shells can be rented for $4 each and reimbursed when returned but some regulars know to bring their own with condiments. Fun to bring friends and family to this super busy place to have a meal. Hard to find a table at this busy establishment but they continuously wipe down tables as people leave to prep it for the next diners. Parking is $2/hour in the lot at the pier.

Was staying nearby, saw the great reviews, and long line so I figured it must be worth it. The French fries were fresh and so yummy. The fish had good flavor but a little too much breading for me. But overall it was still tasty. The lady at the cash register was so sweet and ended up giving me a free cup of clam chowder. It was sooooo good! Next time I would get the clam chowder in a bread bowl!

Usually a great experience but not today. Their fryer broke down and our fried calamari took over an hour… food I always good though, and so is the quality. You can choose from the market and have your seafood fried or grilled!

We popped into Quality Seafood on a Saturday and wow were they busy! Long lines at every window. We mostly browsed but did manage a dozen raw oysters and a couple of beers. Huge selection of fresh seafood to choose from. I know fresh when I see it too. We brought back some of the sushi grade Ahi and it was fantastic. We came back the following Monday and were able to get some more oysters and fried clams. All delicious!

Old style self service restaurant by the pier. Loads of fresh seafood choices from sea urchin to oysters and all kinds of fish and lobster/crab.

Great place to go. Specially with the Family.

A great location with a huge variety of live seafood, the only downsides are the rather high prices. The king crab legs here are more than double the pricing at Costco. The food at the restaurant is certainly more reasonably priced. The fried whole squid was good, skip the paella.

Maybe I’m a harsh critic? The fish and chips were crispy but tasted bitter and dull, no seasoning. The chowda had really good chunks clam and tasted ok but the texture was goopy and gloopy and the crackers were stale. The lobster roll, again tasted ok, but the texture was way to wet and dripping watery mayo juice. I didn’t finish anything, and was very dissatisfied- however the place was very clean and the customer service is great!
