Went there recently, got a few different desserts. Staff was very friendly and patient, including with an elderly person who had trouble deciding what to get and took a bit more time than an average customer.
The apple fritter was not overly sweet like most I’m used to, which was a huge positive, and had a good flavor inside. It was very thick, and had a great spice taste inside. The cheesecake was also not overly sweet, another huge positive, and the crust was superb. The macaron was light and fluffy, and also delicious.
They have a cool chalk wall where you or your kids can draw, leave messages, and more. Wonderful atmosphere, will absolutely be back!

Burney’s Sweet Treats is always a 10/10 for taste and quality, but today I want to shout out their customer service. I ordered pies for Thanksgiving and paid online ahead of time, then in the rush of the holiday chaos I accidentally paid again at pickup. I don’t blame the sweet staff at all — there were pies stacked everywhere and they were doing the most organized chaos you can imagine!
When my husband noticed the double charge, he mentioned disputing it, but I’ve always believed these are good people. I’ve only met them a few times during work lunches, but I figured I’d just email them directly. Sure enough, they took care of it immediately. They refunded the second order within a couple quick emails — no hassle, no stress.
I love supporting businesses that run with integrity and serve their community well. This wasn’t a big issue, but they handled it like pros. Five stars from me, and I can’t wait to enjoy more of their delicious treats! ✨

9.26.2024 – The Red Velvet slice of cake is way over-priced. The chocolate cupcake with vanilla icing and the slices of Red Velvet cake are just ok. The desserts are sweet, but somewhat dry.

A really good friend of ours told us about this place the other day, and we thought this morning would be a great time to check them out. Was greeted at the door when we walked in, and the smell just hit you right away. Then the amazing looking display case dazzles you with all its deliciousness. There are so many options to choose from. We got a honey bun, cinnamon rolls, a red velvet muffin, a croissant pastry thingy, and some donut holes. But really, they just taste blan. The cinnamon roll tasted like it was just bread with icing on it. The muffin didn’t really taste like nothing at all, to be honest. Will go back to try more things on the menu, but all in all, it was just IDK.

Burney’s is a life saver , instead of me driving all the way to Elizabethtown to grab some goodies. I discovered them on Raeford Rd. and stopped in this week and grabbed some. We were so glad we did. It was all hands on deck everyone was working hard with the goodies. My first time at this location I didn’t have to wait long. The service was great.. The Store was clean. No complaints! If you haven’t been here you need to go. There desserts are Divine Delicious ❤️ !
