Order drinks and food after a ten minute wait at the table. Wings showed up after another 5 to 7 minutes…after another 10 minutes the burgers showed up. Still no drinks – asked where the drinks were. Got an “oh” – a few minutes later they arrived. My drink was about 75% full.
One of the burgers were made incorrectly and had to go back.
While we here watched similar issues with 2 other tables.
Nothing taken off bill for the mess – won’t be back. Champs is 100% better.
Atmosphere is excellent. Service is very good.
Food is excellent. Potato soup was very tasty.
My chicken 5 tenders were perfectly cooked and the bourbon sauce had just the right amount of sweetness and zing.
The bacon cheese burger was cooked as ordered and was very flavorful.
Emily, our server, was very attentive. She even took our order without the use of paper and pencil. Love that.
All in all, an excellent experience.
Definitely will return.
Our waitress was nice and knowledgeable.
The food was okay. My husband ordered his stake medium-rare and it was cooked well done. No pink at all.
My son’s fish and chips were too greasy. My boneless chicken was good. Soft and tasty.
Service staff has always been attentive and friendly, and seeing the manager out and about on the floor is always good. It’s been the same man for as long as I can remember. He seems to care about staff and the customers.
The food has almost always been good, and any time we have had a complaint, it was minor and always fixed. Maybe a wrong sauce, forgotten item, etc. But it’s always been taken care of.
I think my one and only complaint is atmosphere, but mostly cleaning. The carpet is in dire need of replacement. Not even cleaning would help, at this point. The chairs…I hate the chairs. The booths seem okay but sometimes uncomfortable due to springs being broken, and often times, when sitting in a booth, you can see food splatters all over the wall or pictures. Having been here many times, it’s obviously not cleaned, as it’s the same food splatters that we’ve seen in the past. It just seems….dingy.
We will still visit, and hopefully, they will one day get a much needed refresh. Some day.
