Regret coming here instead of Noodle St. I was craving cold noodle ( 凉皮) which both places offer. But noodles here is SOGGY, all mushed together, taste like it’s been sitting out the entire day I’m so scared I will get food poisoning. Aside from not being fresh, the flavor is not as good as noodle st either. Also it’s a few bucks more expensive. Noodle st is superior in all aspects.

Very casual Chinese noodle restaurant in a chill and relaxed environment. The food is pretty good and decent value. This place does not even allow you to tip and it is evident why. The service is absolutely bare minimum, the staff seem like they do not even want to be there and don’t even try to be welcoming. The seating is limited and dirty.

Ordered the rice noodle lunch special. Tasty and chewy. Big enough portion to serve me two meals. Lunch specials come with cucumbers and lemonade.

What they offered was rare, and the earlier locations they were at were much more novel at the time. However, over the years, much of what was on their menu is no longer exclusive to just them, and it’s kinda’ just par for the game. Still not bad.
My only issue with this location, is they try to automate everything, so you either have to use Google Pay or go through Square to make your payment and get your order, which is concerning.

Drove all the way from the Valley for some zhajiang noodles…they were out. Ok, fine. Tried to get the golden noodles…also sold out. Bro, what the hell? Asked him what he recommends, and man… big mistake. Dry noodles were dry in all the wrong ways. Got beef tendon and some other stuff too…none of it hit.
Honestly, I should’ve just walked out the moment they didn’t have what I came for.
Ended up gking to Din Tai Fung down the hall…blessing in disguise.

Laoyoufen. $18-19 is kinda expensive, and it tastes very salty, especially the pork

Usually good but went there a few months ago and my orders sauce was lukewarm. I have a suspicion that they gave me someone else’s order who called in before I did. The noodles were not moist like they were boiled just moments befote even though I called my order in pretty recently. And I’ve ordered this dish over the phone here in the past and had no qualms. I would’ve called to ask for an exchange or something but I already dug in with my kid and it would take too much time to return. Disappointed. And curious why the meat sauce was not heated up to temp. It was missing the few typical natural larger chunks meat too that their zhajiang usually has, so I wonder if it was leftover or skimmed from the top(?!)

The Beef Noodle Soup was delicious. As others said, the proportion of beef to noodle was generous, and the flavor was robust. Although the meat alone was somewhat salty, it paired perfectly with the wide noodles. The broth was also yummy, not too light or salty. The Dry Noodles were also pretty good. However, the Medium spice level was still quite spicy! The Cold Cucumber was so-so, more bland than expected. Refreshing after hot and spicy noodles, though. Besides that, the service was good, and the restauraunt itself was pretty clean.
Overall, the flavors were very authentic! Would come back here again for the Beef Noodle Soup, or to try the Guilin Noodle Soup.

The noodles are good, but why are the fried chicken wings 11/10? S-tier. Best chicken we’ve had in a long time. Super juicy with a light crisp
Update 12/13/24: chicken was different and not as good today, so seems like a hit or miss

We enjoyed Qin West Noodle restaurant. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The serving are huge. We will definitely return to try something else from their menu.
