CJ and the crew here are awesome. They were all polite and welcoming. I went through the line super fast, and portions were great. The food tasted yummy and fresh. Since they don’t charge extra on guac, I decided to get double the protein. Highly recommend! Oh, and I enjoyed the chips and queso very much❣️

I stopped by the new Federal Way location recently after realizing it had been years since I last went to Qdoba, back when they were still in this area. I figured enough time had passed to give it another shot.

Qdoba has never been the quintessential Mexican food, but it usually fills the role of a quick, reasonably satisfying stop when you don’t want to overthink it. This visit landed somewhere in the middle.

I ordered three items: a cheese-crusted steak quesadilla, tortilla soup, and chips with queso.

Chips with Queso:
The queso tasted exactly how I remembered it. Rich, cheesy, and with a hint of spice. Honestly, I still like their queso more than most places around, so that was a win.

Tortilla Soup:
The tortilla soup was also solid. It had a noticeable tomato base and enough vegetables to give it some substance, which I appreciated. It felt hearty rather than like a thin, forgettable broth.

Steak Quesadilla:
The quesadilla, however, was just okay. The steak had a distinct flavor that I don’t remember from past visits. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either. Overall it was fine, but not something I’d order again.

My biggest issue, though, was the service. They ran out of guacamole, which, for Qdoba, feels like a pretty big miss. What bothered me wasn’t so much that they were out, but that no one mentioned it. I didn’t find out until I got to my car and saw a note on the quesadilla container saying they gave me what they could. Being out of guacamole at Qdoba is kind of like a burger place being out of buns. At the very least, customers should be told before they walk out the door. I ended up stopping at Taco Time just to grab a side of guacamole to go with the quesadilla.

Between the lack of communication and the just-okay food, I don’t see myself going back anytime soon. There are plenty of other Mexican food spots around with better service and better overall quality, and I’d rather spend my money there.

So glad to have Qdoba back in FW. They just opened yesterday after a lot of delays from the city. This is basically a take out location. Just one table for inside dining.
It was very refreshing to see employees who were genuinely excited to serve us. They were all friendly and engaging. We will be back soon.

My friend and I were out and about on Christmas Eve and came across this new QDOBA location while looking for a quick lunch spot. We were greeted with kindness and served with enthusiasm. Could not recommend this spot more- will be sending family and friends this way! Thanks to CJ and Alejandro for their generosity!

This location just opened recently . It’s New Year’s Eve and everything around this place was closed. When walking in they have the to go/pick up orders right at the door and there were at least 15 orders sitting there ready for pick up and they were busy filling more orders as we came in. Needless to say, they were very busy. Everyone working there was polite and they all worked together like a well oiled machine. As if they’d been doing this for years together. Trish was the manager and she was great with the customers and her team. Will definitely come back again. Oh and the food was really good too!! Sorry no pics! I was to hungry to take a picture!!

They always load my bowl up and give me extra everything. The white girl working there was super friendly and sweet. Overall food here tastes great and solid! Lots of flavor. So much better taste wise compared to their competitors.

Very small location so can’t really eat there comfortably, but the team is doing all the can. With it being brand new it is extremely busy, and you can tell they’re still working out the Kinks and getting comfortable with their team. That being said the manager CJ is absolutely crushing it. He is on top of everything , involved in all aspects of the job , overseeing everything while keeping up with all the customers. Despite how busy it was and how much he was running around, he kept a great attitude, and was continually encouraging the team to have a calm level approach and be positive. Great leader, I can see a lot of success at this location

After hearing they just opened I wanted to try them. Manager and shift lead were up front and present. Polite and friendly, staff seemed happy and food was hot and fresh. They were turning over new food quickly. Girlfriend used to work at a qdoba and was hesitant to try it but wound up raving about how good it was. Will be coming back and hope that management keeps up this level of hospitality and food service.

Worst experience I’ve ever had in a Qdoba. Ignored us when we came in and put all of the brown rice for a mobile order — and just stared at me instead of telling me when it would be done, insisting I get white rice because now there’s a line. Since when do mobile orders take priority over someone standing right in front of you? Especially an order that’s taking giant containers to fill? Does that make any sense? It doesn’t to me. Genuinely the worst service I’ve ever had and I will not go back to this location.

The staff was trying, but they were woefully understaffed for dinner. One employee was helping customers in store, one was trying to keep up with online orders, and one was trying to keep everything prepped and going along.
The employee helping customers in the store, Charles, was very friendly and trying to keep things going smoothly, but clearly needed some more help to keep up with the dinner rush. He was greeting customers, making orders, and checking out- additional staff would be great, to help wait times be a bit shorter.
