Last night I went with my husband for dinner and had a terrible experience. The employees all had a sour look on their faces. Note I usually don’t have any problems but that night was the complete opposite. I got the surf and turf and mentioned to mark which burrito was which because my husband has a severe allergy to shellfish and the guy looked at me confused when he was the one who prepared it for us. He proceeded to mumble something to me and I had to basically guess that he told me that he put a fork in the bag that had my husband’s in it. He then wrapped everything up and put it all in a bag to go when he didn’t ask me if it was for dine-in or to go. We sat down to eat and the moment I bite into my burrito it completely falls apart and I had no way of eating it. I had to hold it on the side as I stood there looking crazy just to ask for a bowl. I finally ask for a bowl and mentioned that my burrito was falling apart and the guy seemed to just dismiss it like it was okay. I’m not sure if I’m overreacting but I also work in the customer service industry and I know to never look like you don’t want to do your job in front of your customers. The other Qdoba near my job has never had any issues like this but I guess I came in on the wrong night. I hope this issue gets fixed because it’s completely unacceptable.

I’m leaving this review because of how I was treated by the owner, Dylan Moore, not because of an order mistake. I accidentally ordered from the wrong Qdoba location through the app and fully acknowledged that the error was mine. I called to explain the situation and why I couldn’t make it to the location in time due to a 30-minute lunch break.

During the call, Dylan Moore was rude and clearly annoyed. He initially told me there was nothing he could do to help. I then had to explain how much money I’ve spent at this Qdoba over time and mentioned that there have been multiple occasions where my order was incorrect, and that I had always been understanding of those mistakes, far more understanding than he was of my own mistake in this situation. Only after that did he abruptly say he would “take care of it,” and then hung up on me in the middle of our conversation while I was still speaking and trying to confirm whether a refund or any resolution was actually being processed.

There was no explanation, no clarification, and no attempt at respectful communication. I had to call back just to express my frustration, ask for his name, and confirm whether or not I would even receive a refund.

No customer should have to call back after being hung up on just to get basic information. Mistakes happen, but dismissive behavior, poor communication, and hanging up on a customer, especially by the owner, are unacceptable. This experience was extremely disappointing.

My recent visit to Qdoba was an exercise in profound disappointment, culminating in a decision to never return. The experience was, in a word, DISGUSTING.!!! Beyond the rudeness of the staff, the blatant disregard for basic hygiene was staggering. I’ve eaten from street vendors in developing nations with far better and more consistent practices.

The workers wore gloves, then proceeded to touch everything in sight—their hair nets, cell phones, each other—before handling food again. The breaking point came when one employee bypassed the serving spoon entirely and submerged his gloved hand directly into a food bucket. As if on cue, the manager—wearing no cap, hairnet, or gloves—ambled over and began handling ingredients with bare hands “like a champ.”

It was a masterclass in cross-contamination and managerial negligence. The sheer carelessness was appalling. The food was rendered inedible by the spectacle of its preparation. Just gross. Never again.

Im never one to comment or make a review on an establishment but saying I’ve never had a good experience at this location is definitely an understatement. As someone pretty high up in the service industry myself I can’t imagine treating people the way this qdoba does. Every time I come in someone is getting scolded whether it be the employees or guests. I’m not sure if she’s a manager but there’s one woman specifically that looks like she hates her life and job. She’s yelled at me and my boyfriend and given so much attitude on all different occasions. To being charged extra for random things then her getting mad at us for it to completely being rude to me and other customers for simple questions we have. It’s to the point where we come here if we absolutely have to since it’s very close to where we live. I’ve been putting off writing a review for 3 months now but I promise every time we come in the manager is yelling at a customer or one of her employees. All that to say hopefully something changes.

This is only the second time I have ever been to a Qdoba. I didn’t like it the first time and after today’s experience I will remember never to come back.
My major complaint is the lack of transparency with the menu. The menu is structured in a way that prices the contents but not the item itself and it is designed with lots of white space and thin text in order not to draw your attention. So every time the server asks if you would like something and you say yes. . . Cha Ching! There isn’t a way for you to have any idea how much your total bill will be. $28+ for 3 tacos and 1 quesadilla! I believe that this is by design in order to get away with double or triple the prices charged at any of the Mexican fast food restaurants with Taco in their names. It is an underhand means of disguising their above market prices. The store is well designed to give the impression of “better” Mexican food. That is only an illusion. The second picture is the greasy chips we took home in their paper bag after setting overnight.

I really wanted a keto bowl and really wanted a protein and the fajita peppers. The fajita pepper container was empty. So it was a no go on having veggies with my protein. The kid put a tiny bit of lettuce on top and I had to ask for more. So disappointed. We arrived at 2.30 on a Sunday. Not busy at all. The restaurant was unclean. Liquid dripping out of trash, dirty tables. Employee went to the drink machine to get a drink and didn’t blink an eye at the mess on that counter. Very disappointed.

Great job putting someone who can’t even speak proper English on the line to take my order therefore resulting in my order being incorrect due to the obvious language barrier. I guess I just have to accept the food however I get it right? It’s crazy to me that I’m in America where we speak English and I can’t even order my food in the native language of the country that I am in with out there being some ridiculous language barrier that screws my order up. Do better qdoba.

I’m super pumped that they built a Qdoba close to my house. The chips and queso is delicious. The spicy queso is a bit too spicy for my taste. The chicken, quesadillas and salsa is spot on. The entrance yo the parking lot is a little awkward because it is narrow. Don’t forget to sign up for rewards that way you can get all kinds of free food. The peach lemonade is a nice complement to the meal. The restaurant is clean and the atmosphere reminds me of Nacho Libre. Also the restrooms were kept clean. We eat here at least once every two weeks and the staff is friendly. It’s not too busy for being located in a college town.

Won’t be going back. All the meats were burnt on all of our meals. The staff was so oblivious and couldn’t remember asking us what we wanted. Had to repeat everything multiple times. Multiple people were getting the wrong food and even the to go orders were requesting their money back. Tables were dirty. Health department should probably go check this place out asap.
