The team is absolutely crushing it right now. Service is fast, friendly, and on point every single time. You can tell the management is locked in and doing an incredible job because the whole place runs smoothly, even when it’s busy.

The new crew brings great energy, stays organized, and clearly cares about getting orders right and keeping customers happy. It makes a huge difference, and it shows.

If you’re looking for a QDOBA with great food, great service, and a team that’s firing on all cylinders, this is the spot.

Surprised at the 5-star reviews. People always rave about QDOBA and to say I’m disappointed would be an understatement. Portions were decent, but the taste was terrible. I threw out half my bowl. Prices are expensive compared to Chipotle. And salsa scoops are basically the size of my thumb. Queso and guacamole are included, yeah, sure, but they give you less than a tablespoon of both. The only thing that actually tasted somewhat decent were the chips. Rice was overcooked and over limed, when eating the rice it tasted as if I bit into a lime. Service I will say is decent but now I know why there was no line during dinner. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I was surprised to see so many five-star reviews because my own experiences at this location have been very different. During my visits, the store has felt disorganized and inconsistent, with frequent changes in staff and little visible management presence.

The overall environment has come across as unprofessional, and employees often seem unsure of procedures, which affects service and wait times. As a customer, that lack of structure doesn’t create much confidence that things are being handled smoothly behind the scenes.

I hope the company focuses on improving leadership, consistency, and basic operations so customers can have a more reliable and positive experience in the future.

Better than Chipotle! The dining experience was amazing. The atmosphere was clean and quiet even with customers. The manager Mike made our quesadillas to perfection. The chicken had a perfect char and smokiness and the fajitas were delicious. Thank you Mike for the great lunch experience!!

QDOBA Catering is our go-to for staff lunch. You can never go wrong with chips & queso, and build your own taco bowls. Bert and his team are always friendly and do a great job!

Was greeted by a taller blonde man with glasses and he was pleasant. Such a great experience and the food was so good, this is what chipotle should mirror. Much better tasting ingredients and honestly the food could have taste bad and just the pure service would be enough for me.

While I absolutely love Qdoba and was super excited to finally have one in the Akron area, this particular location kinda sucks. We’ve eaten here 3 times and only once has the food come up to the low bar of “acceptable.”

The staff seems poorly trained and often struggles to act like they care at all about being there. I don’t expect much for how much I’m sure they’re being paid, and I’d have more sympathy if they were as short-staffed as similar restaurants. But twice we’ve gone in and there are like 8-12 employees standing around while the kitchen and prep areas are gross and half empty.

The portions are good, but that’s actually not a good thing if the food is old and not well cooked.

I really hope this place can get it together, although I’m not holding my breath, as it’s only been a month and the quality of all aspects of this restaurant seem to have slipped already. Things like that don’t tend to improve over time, but again, I really hope that I’m wrong and just had a couple bad experiences.

Here’s hoping they get it together, otherwise the Qdoba Akron experiment may be short lived.

I tried getting lunch with my father and kids. We were in line 10 minutes, and we did not move. Lines aren’t a problem for me the 2 workers moved as slow as you can possibly move to do ANYTHING. Not really how I picture working in the food industry especially if you want any business. They still weren’t done with the 1 order. I don’t expect you to rush but there’s a spectrum here, they walked slow moved slow everything, very sloth like. Qdoba food deserves better service, people with an ounce of passion. Workers looked miserable.

This place is literally a lifesaver to me. I used to go to the Rocky River location over a decade ago and get the loaded tortilla soup (then called the gumbo) in the fried shell. It was the best thing ever.

Then every Qdoba started disappearing and I could no longer get my beloved.

I’m happy to say it’s still exactly the same, and I’m so glad more Qdobas are popping back up because they are the best!

Now a decade later, the tortilla soup is a pregnancy craving of mine, so I’m so happy I can easily get it now.

It was very good. The people working there seemed stressed but we’re still kind. I really like pickled onions but I ended up taking them off because they were so strong they took over. Otherwise, we had a great experience and will be back.
