New to the area for work. Stopped in for dinner and I’ll be back! Fresh hot and taste was great. Chips, queso and a burrito bowl w/spicy chicken

Visited this Qdoba on a Saturday late evening with only 2 customers joined after I entered. The place was quiet as if it was closed. The staff did greet and changed gloves and assisted in taking the order. I ordered a veggie burrito, and the order was taken fast and quickly prepared. I couldn’t tell if I would visit this location again.

Firstly, I’ve been going to this Qdoba since they opened back in 2015 because I live in the neighborhood. They have some of the best Mexican food and salsa any Quick Service Restaurant can offer and the service is (usually) pretty good. As of lately I haven’t been able to acquire one meal from them! Let me paint a brief picture. I get off work at 4:30 pm after waking up at 5am every work day. Several times within the past weeks I’ve come in after 5pm to all the food looking absolutely abysmal. Everything is almost finished and what is leftover is dry from being out all day. Forget the beans, rice, fajita veggies…there’s also usually no proteins such as chicken or steak ready. Waiting 30mins-50mins for food at a QSR is unreal. Plaza Azteca is a GREAT Mexican restaurant that I also frequent as well which is only minutes away; never had a problem with them. I’m sure my patronage alone wouldn’t be of great lose but if I’m noticing these things others could be too which might explain why it is always empty when I arrive. I will not give up faith nor will I eat at Chipotle. Thank you.

This location is convenient and the employees are very pleasant. I have never had an issue until now. I brought a bowl for dinner and only could eat 3 fork fulls due to it being a lot. So I go to heat it up for lunch. Well to my surprise there is hair in my bowl. It’s not mine due to me having braids and I don’t have a beard. This is the reason they put hairnets and beard nets in place. Can you say disappointed and disgusted. I spent money on food that I can’t even eat

I want to say thank you to Ob for being such a kind young man and for showing excellent hospitality to every customer at Qdoba. Last night, I had the pleasure of having him as my server again, and I truly appreciated his positive energy and the care he put into making my food to perfection. Great service like his always makes the experience better!

WHAT IS GOING ON: This review is hurting ME to write. I take extreme pride in my community inclusive of our stores, shops, restaurants etc. I have been putting off this review for three weeks now because I was hoping nay praying that the quality of food for my neighborhood QDOBA was a once, twice, even thrice fluke. I didn’t want to accept this fact well now it’s time for a little acceptance and honesty on my behalf. Three weeks in a row on various days I have stopped in to Qdoba located in conshohocken PA after work only to find that the food was as follows: the black beans were nearing the bottom of the pot and had looked mashed, no fajita veggies, no steak, the brown rice looked old, and the white rice well let’s just say it wasn’t white. The chicken was nearly finished and when I asked about the food and or options I was told it was going to be about an hour. This was between 530pm and 6pm on a work day. Trust me after working a long shift and ready to get home The last thing I want to do is sit around for another 45 minutes to an hour. I’m finding it so hard that the staff is not considering after work hours in preparation of having food readily available for their customers. Most places have a mission that 6pm food should be just as fresh as when the store first opens. At least 4 times I have walked in and after seeing what was passing as food at that hour turned around and departed. I even came in twice with my adult son to only find the same thing. It’s so bad that we already knew what to expect in the way of availability and quality as we walked inside but as I stated in the beginning I was in denial and was really hoping that this was not going to be an ongoing issue. I do not know what’s going on or where’s the quality control but I’m very very very disheartened, disappointed, and baffled all at the same time. Because 5:30 to 6:30 is not so late that customers should walk in there and do not have the option to purchase fresh food. If I could have given a zero star that is exactly what it would have been. The atmosphere with dull dark and dismal nearly as if the place was one hour from shutting down permanently. Well, today is 12/29/2025. Qdoba 2026 is quickly approaching how about a New Year’s resolution to do better?

Since my last review, it was the first time that I went back to this Qdoba and took out Steak Fajitas Quesadilla. I loved this very much: Good temperature, Right moisture, Good color, Good size, and Very TASTY. I will definitely go back for this Quesadilla if they keep the quality of the food like this good quality, which is different from my last review about food.

My old review:
I ordered Quesadilla by mobile and picked it up inside the restaurant. It was my first time being at Qdoba and ordering food.
1. Atmosphere was not much welcoming. Staffs were busy handling other customers, but I believe staff is supposed to check to help those walking in customers like me who don’t how to get the ordered food.
2. It wasn’t clear where to pick up food for the first-time customer.
3. Over 10 minutes delayed than their pickup time shown on the mobile order.
4. The quesadilla wasn’t tasty enough.

The chicken in the rice bowl didn’t taste right and when I took a couple pieces out the chicken was chewy and fatty and the color was transparent grey. Have been going here for 3 years now ordering the same thing never tasted that bad. Me and my wife did not finish it and tossed in trash

the amount of times I have tried to come to this qdoba and the doors have been locked, is actually humorous at this point. the doors will be locked for seemingly no reason. The lights are on, I can LITERALLY see workers inside yet there is no sign on the door explaining why they might be closed. This is like the 5th time at this point. I actually like qdoba better than chipotle, this is ridiculous. It’s the way the workers are literally sitting at a booth by the window and watching people pull on the door and then they’re not explaining why they have decided to lock the door.

I love Qdoba in general but this location I do not like. I’ve been here a few times and haven’t really had bad experiences, but I have noticed they are always out of things like rice and sauces and drinks. Today I went in for a bowl and the guy that made my bowl skimped everything. He put the tiniest dollop of guac on my bowl I mean I don’t ever complain about something like that but it was the tiniest scoop. I actually just stared for a sec cuz there’s no way you thought that tiny scoop was even okay. I should’ve said something but come on. Chipotle doesn’t even do that and they skimp everything. Part of the reason I think he skimped it was cuz the guac was running out, but if you work at a food place and something someone orders runs out why not just ask if they mind waiting for a new batch? Idk it’s not that difficult? You gotta make it anyway. The girl that checked me out was also rude, she seems very dismissive I’ve seen her before she always looks angry and displeased. I’m mainly mad at how little he put in my bowl and actually thought it was cool cuz I’ve been here before and they never do that usually. And the attitude from the girl made it worse. They need new employees. The stores is usually messy and the kitchen looks dirty, the employees clearly don’t keep up with it or care. I always wondered why the stores always empty but after reading reviews and seeing how it is I can tell people just don’t like the location.
