Spectacular food last night at Pyke’s Crossroads Restaurant in Winnsboro. The salmon fillet was huge – prepared with a yummy crunchy topping, garlic knots and stuffed jalapeños were our appetizers, the jalapeño popper burger was delicious and cooked to a perfect pink, the sweet potato fries were outstanding and our dessert was the messy brownie sundae. We also enjoyed a draft beer flight. Service and atmosphere were excellent as well. We will be back!

The food was great, the service was great and the live music was fantastic. Overall, everyone in my party enjoyed the food. It would be a great place for date night, the vibe was fantastic. A bit too expensive for family night, portions were small for the price, and I did not appreciate that they add the tip themselves on parties over 6. Plus I do not know what a service fee is but it added $6 to my bill.

I originally thought it was just a bar.

Absolutely loved this place! In town meeting with friends and this was our first night out. The customer service was excellent! They were booked so we sat at the bar & Loved it. Everything we ordered was delicious! Duck eggs, nachos, pizza, burger & fries… everything was delicious! Drinks were great too. And loved the live music. It was perfect.

Its really really bright in there. They could stand to have their lights on a dimmer switch. Had the salmon last night and I couldn’t eat it. As soon as I put the first bite to my mouth it had an overwhelming fishy smell. I understand that is not the chefs fault or the waitress. Think it’s been a while since that salmon saw the ocean. It was so fishy, it was not edible. Their bacon wrapped asparagus is so good. Nice stiff drinks too!!

The first time we went here, the food was great. The second time, not so much. First, the salads were drenched in dressing so much that they were inedible. My daughter ordered a well-done burger. When it finally came, it was pink inside, and the cheese “sauce” was cold. We told the owner, and she argued and said there was no pink, I asked my daughter if she wanted to send it back, but she said it would take too long and just ate around the edges. I have included pictures so you can make your own judgment. Not everything here is bad, but the owner’s attitude was unacceptable, and we won’t be back. In the small town restaurant, World Service is King, and this establishment failed, so buyer beware.

Wonderful family owned restaurant. The food was amazing, I highly recommend the jalapeno popper burger! I have never received such incredible service at any restaurant, the staff were so attentive and friendly. If you’re hungry around Winnsboro you gotta stop by Pyke’s!

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant…maybe the highlight of our trip. Food was fresh and tasty. The menu was full of so many options for both and drinks and food we could barely decide. Service felt so personal and friendly. Hostess was fun and kept joking w the kids. Our server who I think was maybe owner also? Was so helpful and informative. They split everything for our kids. Will 100% come back!!!

We had a wonderful dining experience at Pyke’s Crossroads! The food was exceptional—high quality and bursting with flavor. The salad with fruit and nuts had an incredible dressing and it was SO fresh. That pizza you see in my photo was one of the best I have had (ricotta pesto sauce on it!) it was gluten free crust that was wood-fired too. The steak was cooked medium-well like we asked even though it was very thick. Still juicy and delicious. My wife is very allergic to gluten and this place probably has the most options in town for gluten free (clearly shown on the menu too.) Even multiple gluten free desserts!
The service was impressive: prompt, entertaining, and very respectful. The staff genuinely added to the dining experience, making us feel welcome and well taken care of.
The atmosphere was clean, charming, and thoughtfully decorated, though we thought a slightly dimmer lighting would have made it even better for our romantic date night. But maybe that’s just me! Some of our friends came in towards the end of our meal and I thought the place was perfect for gathering a group for a festivity.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for phenomenal food and a lovely ambiance. Some people will say it is too expensive; you get what you pay for. Go pay $16 at DQ for a meal of a certain quality. When you want a celebratory meal, the quality at Pyke’s does not disappoint!

I recently was told about this little gem in Winnsboro that has a Reuben made from scratch. For those that follow me you know I am a Reuben lover. This will now be an A list spot for me. The meat was packed with flavor and the dressing had just enough kick to feel but not over power. The balance of the flavors is an absolutely perfect blend. I really enjoyed the service as well as the quiet atmosphere. They are moving to a larger location soon so we will have to test there too. Great food.
