We like Purple Turtle, I wouldn’t say we love it. It’s been an iconic place to eat in the Pleasant Grove-Lindon area my entire life. We’ve eaten here a handful of times over the past couple of years which has ultimately brought me to my 3-star review.

Since 1968 the Purple Turtle has been a stopping point. It has changed hands over the years, but they keep it OG. We have family buried in the area so on our annual pilgrimage we make it a point to stop. Never a disappointment and brings back memories of the stop before heading up American Fork Canyon.

The Purple Turtle has great milkshakes and is worth the visit. We got the Kiddie shake which is the smallest size but for a small shake it is big. I love when a milkshake tastes like chocolate and they made it extra chocolate for me which was fantastic. There tater tots were good. The beef patty on the burgers is small, but the burgers are good.

Have always driven by Purple Turtle when in Pleasant Grove. Decided to stop here for the first time on Saturday 10/16. Not bad for a burger joint. The cashier was very helpful, very polite. Good portion sizes. I ordered a Mushroom Burger and Fries. I feel it was missing a tomato. It may seem a little odd, though I do judge a place on their Fry Sauce, and in this case, would I come back? Probably not.

Just make sure everything is in your bag before you leave the drive through. I asked the guy specifically if they had put pink sauce in my bag and he told me definitely there is pink sauce. Get home 40 minutes later because of traffic and no pink sauce. Call and asked for a manager and get a fake manager. Won’t be going to this again place any time soon.

Very comfy restaurant. The food is delicious. I got a simple order, a burger and fries. Idk what they put in their fry batter but its one of the rare times where the fries taste delicious even without salt or pepper or anything. The burger was nice and juicy and the bacon on it was just how I like it. My one small criticism i have is that the burger was kind of lacking flavor a little bit. Maybe give it some seasoning before cooking it to get that flavor out of it? Maybe add a little more fat to the beef? But other than that, the food is really good and not super expensive for what you would expect.
