Wow!!! Fresh, fresh, fresh food that will hit the spot! I had noticed the special for Fri and Sat night is BBQ and fish. And let me tell you this is the fish I have been looking for! The homemade beans are full of flavor and the right amount of spice. I was a fan of everything down to the coleslaw! The staff was friendly and our food was at our table quickly. I am looking forward to another visit soon!!

Went for breakfast Sunday morning. There were 4 tables full. We ordered, then a few more tables came in 10-15 minutes after and ordered. Their food came, and we continued to sit and wait and wait. Our food finally came. My plate was warm, but food not hot. Like it had been sitting under a warmer. My patty melt was dry and bland and the bread tasted stale. I couldn’t get enough ketchup and mustard on it. The waitress suggested French fries. Yes they would have been good if they were hot! Boyfriends pancakes were dry and no flavor. He always cleans his plate, but left half his pancakes and bacon as they were greasy with odd flavor. After all this the waitress acted like us waiting for our food was our fault, and just slapped our bill on the table and walked away. All this for $50. Extremely over priced for what you get and how you’re treated! Will never go back!

I order a daily special catfish, fries and coleslaw for $11.50. I didn’t get my coleslaw, I was charged 15.00 for only a few tiny pieces of catfish and strings of greasy fries. My husband asked for extra onions on his burger and they charged for sautéed onions which he never got. And ther we’re flies flying around sitting here and there, people were waving their hands to shew them away from the food. Bleech . Just wanted too have simple good meal. Not going back.

Damn good bbq that my family is sick of hearing me talk about. The “Reuben” is a brisket sandwich with a killer slaw, and let me tell you – this sandwich is unreal! I’d never “waste” brisket on a sammy, myself, but these folks had some of the best I’ve had, which made for the best sandwich I’ve come across. The fries were pretty good too, but I wish I’d gotten more brisket instead.
