So amazing. I love that they offer hot salsa. I had the cheese jalapeño pupusa and it was so good. I’ve tried other pupusas around town, and these are easily the best — big, full of filling, and packed with flavor. Highly recommend. They’re a little hard to find, but absolutely worth the search.

I wasn’t expecting a pupuseria out here. Had to come thru and wait a bit for them to open up at the local cider bar. It was worth the wait. The yucca frita and the pupusas were amazing. They were great portions. And they had spicy salsa! And the curtido! It’s hard to come by a pupuseria that hits. Amazing Eating my comfort food after a few hikes and stressful drives, my soul came back happy. Hope to try out more of their menu when I come back out here. Amazing!

Pupuseeia San Miguel catered for a work lunch and did a fantastic job! The event served about 35 people and they prepared 7 variations of pupusas to accommodate all of our dietary restrictions. Yes, we were a complicated order , but everything was there and delicious! We also got sweet plantains and it was so yummy. I’m Central American and I wanted to share Central American food with my coworkers on earth day. It was a lot of people’s first time eating pupusas and they really enjoyed it and event felt nostalgic, comparing it to foods from their cultures. They provided chafing dishes, three salsas with different hear levels, curtido (the pickled cabbage), and sure cream.

Overall, the food was delicious, the attention to detail was there, and the owner Gino was a pleasure to coordinate with.

Popusas were huge compared to what we are used to, geat taste and value nonetheless. Will definitely come back to try out their Putacos. Their empanadas were as authentic as can be .

Pupuseria San Miguel showed up at Northern Nights Music Festival and i was immediately hooked. Gino was kind and generous, a pleasure to meet and talk with. The entire staff was friendly. The portions were generous, by far the best value available at the festival. They could have inflated the prices but they held it down in the best ways.

I go to this food truck for my own personal delight because I love the food. They make some good pupusas and their salvadorian horchata is so good! I had the opportunity to use them for a catering event for work and I love that they provided the food on time and at a good price. Everyone enjoyed the pupusas and loved the empanadas and pastelitos. I definitely recommend this place!

I was so excited to finally have salvadorean food in Humboldt County BUT there’s something about their pupusas that’s off and IMHO is not a true pupusa taste. I have had pupusas from over dozens of salvadorean restaurants, hole in the walls, street vendors, the neighbors (you name it) in Southern California and Central America and the taste is not the same. I dunno if it’s the type of cheese they use or the dough…..dare I say it tastes bland and healthier?!? It didn’t taste terrible but sadly I cannot give them a good review. I do wish their business the best and I’m sure there are others who 100% disagree with my honest review. I have tried their pupusas two different times and who knows maybe third times a charm????

Pupuseria San Miguel catered for our class of 100 students. They are very responsive, affordable, and flexible. Our students loved all of the food that was provided. They especially liked the jalapeño cheese pupusa. They delivered to our location and even ended up so kindly going back to grab utensils and plates since we forgot to ask. I will definitely be ordering from them again and suggest you do the same! THANK YOU!

Probably the best pupusas i have had! It is run by a mother son duo, and the quality of food they put out is phenomenal. The bean filling and chicharron are delicious! I will definitely come here again. It is a little difficult to get to since it is inside of a business park, but do not worry, it is worth it! They were kind to let us order 10 minutes before closing.

Pupuseria San Miguel has always provided great service and authentic Salvadorean food. The revuelta and Lorocco pupusas are my favorite. The last few months I have tried their Putaco de Asada and the empanadas de platano, I prefer the bean over the cream filling. Their locations at farmers market and at various locations in Arcata convenient.
