So overpriced… I’ve been here a few times and it’s honestly really just ok. To start off the dumplings are fine but I feel like the flavor isn’t that great and they are not worth what they cost. If you were to get them though the pork ones are better than the chicken. The noodles were alright but they were really salty, kind of dry and not worth $18. I mean the food fine i guess but it definitely is not my first choice.

Soup was so hot, I burnt my tongue. It took 20 minutes to cool down the soup. They do not give water. You have to buy bottle water for 3 bucks. They do not give extra bowl to cool down the soup. They told me, you have to pay for empty bowl. Right next to them couple store down Pita place, they offer water, bette food, extra plates, napkins and so on.

Do NOT eat at this location. I eat at the Buford location every month and the food is so good as is the friendly service. This location wanted to charge me .50 for water after I gave a $5 tip on the walk up counter service that involved me ordering and me picking up my food and me throwing away my own trash. How cheap can you get? Then to top it off the food arrived and was subpar (except the dumplings so I guess if you must eat at this location get the dumplings). The Dan Dan noodles were dry and lacked the depth and flavor that makes me always order them. The popcorn chicken was not what I expected and which I only ordered after asking about them. The clerk at the counter said it was my fault for not understanding but I said it was definitely a miscommunication and she should have explained what I was getting since I specifically asked. When I asked for some sauce that I expected it was coming with (based off her miscommunication) I was told she could get me chili oil but it was $2 and also that’s not what I wanted so then I asked if she could ask the chef and she said no because the chef only spoke Mandarin and she did not. Do not recommend eating here. Go to Buford Highway

Definitely one of my oldest daughter’s favorite spots! Our whole family is in love with the pork dumplings and that sauce it comes in. Mind blowing good! I also love the chicken with cilantro. If you aren’t a fan of cilantro it may not be for you but for me it’s perfect. For a family of 4 everything I order usually comes to about $65 but I promise it is worth every cent. I’m usually coming to get take out after my daughter’s practice and seem to always find a good parking spot. Definitely try Gu’s your taste buds will be happy you did!

These dumplings are absolutely stellar. From the texture to the complex flavor profile of the sauce, they are soooo delicious. Some of their other items are extremely good too making it a perfect Chinese takeout spot in our opinion. I do have to say that their prices are a little too high. It could be because of the location or inflation or whatever reason but we still think that they are a little too high for what you are getting. 50 cents for cup a water is not a good move in our opinion.

I used to live at the Halcyon back when the apartments were called Elan Halcyon I loved going downstairs and having this spot as an option anytime I liked. The food was a little pricy but the dumplings were great and the Halcyon lunch special that came with the popcorn chicken was a good value in my opinion.

This was a very popular location at the food hall. There was always ongoing customers at this spot. The person up front was very helpful and nice as this was my first time at the food hall since it opened. I opted for the 6 steamed pork dumplings. You can choose from 6 or 10 quantity wise for the number of dumplings as well as if you want pork, chicken, or vegetable.

Food was good, came out quickly & was fresh. My 3 star review is based on the fact that they charge .50 cents for water. I just spent $40 on dinner & asked for a water cup to which I was told I needed to pay. For the price of the food, that is tacky.

Beware, I was sick to my stomach before I made it to 400! Ordered the Sesame chicken which didn’t even come with rice. Had to pay extra for the rice!! How cheap!! The chicken tasted weird and bland with 2 small pieces of broccoli for $18. I think the food sits out all day or they use low quality chicken as I only ate 2 bites and within 20 minutes I was sick. Shameful quality, over priced and a waste of money!! Never again!

The veggie dumplings I got were tasty, but spicy! I like spicy food and can handle some spice, but these were near the top of my enjoyable level of spice range. I’d go again, but will ask for less spice – and if you don’t like spicy food be sure to mention it when you order! Prices seem on the higher side for what you get.
