I called and placed an order over the phone and was told it would be ready for pickup in 20 minutes. When I arrived, the three employees working said I had not called. I showed them the number I dialed, which was their business number, and my call log showing I spoke with someone for one minute. I was not greeted when I walked in, nor was I helped right away. Instead of trying to resolve the issue or offering to make my order immediately, they laughed and argued about whether I had called. The situation could have been handled much more professionally by simply asking what my order was and preparing it.

I have ordered from here many times, always pretty much ordered the same thing. This time we decided to actually sit in the restaurant and eat. The atmosphere is okay but the food is delicious. We still ordered our staple but also ordered several other items. My favorites are always the pupusas with chicharron, beans and cheese. I also recommend the pasteles with chicken and potato. The camarones a la diabla were good and the plantain empanada with custard was pretty good.

The food is amazing and Janette gave us great service. Pupusas are to be eaten freshly made and right away. Be aware since they are freshly made they take some time to get ready but worth the wait because they are amazing… they are extremely busy with a lot of to go orders so be aware when you are dinning in

I think the only reason why people come here is because it’s cheap compared to most nearby places. The employees are nice, and very welcoming. The wait and the food is okay. I ordered two pupusa’s and an horchata(which is darker in color, more cinnamon flavored, and sweeter) than Mexican style horchata’s. My order was taken at 10:34 and it got out at 11:10, the price for the two was about 9.28 with a 0.20 tip it’s about 11.28, I’m not sure what the tip was for, since my order didn’t even get walked over to the table they asked me to sit at.
Overall if your going to go, order ahead.

The waitresses’ service was horrible. we waited for over an hour and half for our food. And they never brought it. Afterwards, we asked for it to go and we waited another 20 minutes. When I opened my order, they it only had tre little pieces of pork like cat food when I opened chicharones en salsa and they gave a horrible pork so, I wasted my time, money and my dinner

Their pupusas are pretty good. I also tried the 4 pasteles (empanadas) which were tasty, carne guisada plate was alright and tamal de pollo was decent. I had to wait way too long to just have them take my order, the food itself didn’t take too long but they didn’t check on us and they forgot a couple of items plus I had to go over the counter to ask for a couple waters after waiting for them for awhile. The bottom line is their food is good if you wanna try some good pupusas and different Latin American food besides Mexican, prices are OK but their service wasn’t good so I’d recommend ordering to go. Delivery with doordash is also available.

i randomly choose this place while on our last visit to santa rosa. pleasantly surprised and happy with our choice. ordered two different pupusas — after all, it’s their specialty! one pupusa de queso con loroco [cheese & loroco flower] & one pupusa de queso, calabaza & espinaca [cheese, squash & spinach]. both were absolutely delicious! funny thing is though, it was hard to tell the difference which was which. was it loroco flower or spinach? couldn’t tell. no matter, both so very tasty. didn’t love that they loaded us with unnecessary plastic utensils & sauce on the side was okay. there is a 30 minute wait [even for take-out], so be prepared to wait.

Pupusas come hot and fresh! great flavor. Sopa de pata is on point! But you better be hungry because it is a large portion. Definitely recommend if you are in Santa Rosa.

New waiter was such a fresh breath of air. The service was top tier, he was polite, checked on us repeatedly(cross dangling black earrings). Incredibly friendly and the pupusas are the right texture vast difference in service and food than last year.

I love this place! Their food is delicious, especially the pupusas! I’ve had almost all the pupusa‘s and can recommend all of them! If you are ordering to go , speaking Spanish is helpful, but not mandatory. Be sure to give yourself some time before picking up! I’d recommend 30 minutes or more. Their rice and beans are delicious.
