Reviews
special thanks to head chef & manager
The Food: The Mix Veg was so incredibly dry and tasteless that we left it almost entirely untouched. The Chhole Bhature was mediocre at best; the bhature felt more like small puris or basic bread rather than authentic, fluffy bhature.
The Drinks: The Lemon Lime Bitter and Tea were the worst part of the meal. Both lacked any standard flavor—the LLB was tasteless and the tea was undrinkable. We ended up leaving those on the table as well.
The Service:When I raised these concerns with the female staff member, she didn’t react or offer any explanation, which was very frustrating. However, I must mention that Gokul was a bright spot—he was really nice and served us very well despite the kitchen’s shortcomings.
As someone who appreciates good food and always eats out, I expected much more from a place like this. I won’t be returning.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
What I ordered:
• Chole Bhature
• Mixed Veg Platter (entrée)
Review:
• Chole Bhature:
• Bhature were fluffy, golden, and perfectly crisp.
• Chole had a rich, spicy gravy with that classic North Indian flavour.
• Portion size generous and filling — real comfort food!
• Mixed Veg Platter:
• Great variety — paneer tikka, samosa, pakora, and spring rolls.
• Nicely spiced and served hot.
• Perfect starter to share or enjoy solo.
Service & Ambience:
• Quick service, friendly staff.
• Clean, cosy space with homely Punjabi vibes.
Overall:
✅ Authentic taste
✅ Great value
✅ Must-try for anyone craving true Punjabi street-style food!
Advised the staff who apologised, advising no charge which of course is the least they could do.
We also found it was that noisy we had to shout to be heard, moved to a table as far away from a big group that was mainly responsible.
No plans to return.
It was a lovely celebration night. And we were given free Gulab Jamun for dessert. A lovely place, we can highly recommend.
