Stopped at Punjabi Kitchen in Merced on our way to Yosemite from the Bay Area — and it was a fantastic find! It’s a food truck with a limited menu, but the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered Dal Makhani, Garlic Naan, and Rice, and honestly, it was one of the best Dal Makhani I’ve had in the US. Prices are very affordable, and the portion size is generous. The truck is parked in a lot with a few other food trucks offering different cuisines, but this was the only Indian option. They also have covered benches, which was great since Indian food is hard to enjoy in a car. Highly recommend stopping here if you’re in the area!
