Bamboo Dessert & Drinks in Baltimore is a hidden gem for anyone with a sweet tooth or love for unique drinks! Although we didn’t try the food since we had already eaten, we stopped in for dessert and drinks — and we’re so glad we did. They have a great variety to choose from, including traditional Asian desserts and specialty drinks.
I ordered the Vietnamese coffee, and it was excellent — bold, rich, and full of strong, authentic flavor. We also tried the green pandan waffle, which was soft, slightly chewy, and delicious. Everything we had was fresh and flavorful.
The shop is located a bit off the main path if you’re walking from the pier — it’s on the other side of the building, so it may take a minute to find, but it’s absolutely worth it. Once you’re inside, the vibe is cozy and inviting, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
This spot is perfect whether you’re looking for something refreshing, comforting, or just a place to relax for a bit. We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back to try more from the menu next time. Highly recommend checking it out!

Got their Taro Lover and it was the worst drink ever. Everything was thick and lumpy. I couldn’t drink out of the straw and it didn’t taste good using the spoon either so I had to toss it. I also ordered boba with the drink and there weren’t any boba in the drink. Wasted money.

My dad and I stopped by because we noticed a new store and we were very glad that we did. There were so many options to choose from that it was overwhelming but options are a good problem to have. I ended up getting something with a bunch of fruit and coconut milk, I didn’t think I would like it but I loved it. My dad got a mango drink with tajin and he loved his. We also got these cool free cups! I don’t live in Baltimore but when I come again, I know where I’ll be stopping by.

The drinks are fine. I’ve been eating Bambu for years at many locations in many states so I honestly didn’t expect authentic Vietnamese desserts or anything. I think I saw the owner of this place when it was first opened and he seemed to care about the customers’ experience a lot. I really rooted for this place as one of the very few Vietnamese places in Baltimore. But to have been served this neon green, drier than sand, almost as hard as a rock waffle is so disappointing.

We’re in town to experience the food scene and were excited to try these dessert drinks. The excitement slowly turned into anger while we waited nearly an hour for the drinks to arrive. They weren’t understaffed as we seen at least 4 people behind the counter and in the back. They didn’t have many orders. There wasn’t any explanation to why drinks were not being made. Some people waited in line and decided to leave because no one was taking orders. After about 40 minutes, one of our drinks were made but then we got asked if we would like to substitute an ingredient for another. If we would’ve had to wait any longer, I would’ve asked for a refund. To be honest, they should have given us the drinks for free for wasting an hour of our time.

What a fun spot! We hopped in here during a walk through the city and the environment was clean, modern and welcoming. The man behind the counter was so helpful with suggestions and smiled throughout. We tried a few different things: the macarons were fresh and delicious, the Vietnamese dessert drink was refreshing and the lychee bubble tea was a hit with my 11 year old (he said, “Mom, this is the best bubble tea I’ve ever had!”). We’ll be back soon!

This spot is right across from my work and it’s always a go-to place for me if i need a little pick-me-up! They’re all super friendly, the service is usually quick (with the exception of a rush or something being broken, which is understandable and not their fault), and everything is delicious! They have some of the BEST french macarons I’ve ever had! And the pandan waffles are delicious! Very unique menu items and there’s something for everyone! 10/10 recommend if you’re in the area!

Absolutely LOVE this place. Love the food/drinks/desserts. Love the service. Love the environment!
Hands down I’d choose to grab Chè over boba! There’s so many different dessert drinks to choose from and on top of their selections you can still customize it .
Everyone we’ve been greeted with has been super nice and helpful.
The vibe is great. Great place to enjoy your chè and hangout a solo or with friends. There’s a nice assortment of games you can choose to play also. Where you find games is a different type of seating too!
If you’re busy taking pictures of your dessert and discover you’ve run down your battery, have no fear because Bambu has a charging station!!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!

I like the drinks, but the wait is pretty bad.
I ordered online, where it said it would be a 5-10 minute wait, so I ordered 10 minutes before arriving. When I got there I told them my name and they said it would only be 5 minutes more. I ended up waiting in the store for 20 more minutes. I was on my lunch break so it’s pretty frustrating.
Unfortunately it’s usually not really worth ordering as it could be 5 minutes or 30 minutes, making you either wait in store forever or receiving a melted drink if you choose to come in late.
