Hidden Indian chai gem on i5. We badly wanted Indian chai on our way from SD and accidentally stopped at this gas station/indian food joint on a cold evening.
At first, we thought we ran out of luck and we dint find anyone taking food/drinks order. Then came a lady who took our chai order and brewed us a fantastic masala tea. Tall size for a very decent price. Pity we dint order food as I am sure would have been lovely as well.
The place seems to be brand new. The restrooms are squeaky clean and has loads of food n drink options to choose from. There is no proper menu displayed thats the only qualm. Otherwise, dont miss the chai !! ☕️

We had delicious Indian food here on two occasions while visiting the Buttonwillow Karting track.
They sure do pour love into the food, and went above and beyond to make sure that my family and I were happy. Our kids exclaimed “that was so much better than Chipotle would’ve been!“ when we visited here instead of our usual Mexican stop on the way home from racing. Prices are super duper reasonable too.
Super thankful to have this kind of family-run place in the area! Will be back next time we’re at the track for sure!

Last night, my spouse and I stopped here to buy medicine for an upset stomach, and the staff were extremely helpful and kind. We also bought some instant noodles and ate them inside the food mart. We truly appreciate their support.
