Reviews
1. PBN Special Amritsari Kulcha: 4.5/5. It comes with butter, raita, chutney and chole. The Kulcha was perfectly flaky. The chutney was so good. I would have rated it 5/5 but the quantity of chole is less as compared to Mughal Mahal Amritsari Kulcha.
2. Gajar ka halwa: 5/5. Right amount of sweetness because some restaurants add too much of sugar.
3. Gudd waali Chai: 5/5. Comes with 2 biscuits.
The service staff is super friendly. If you want to try Amritsari Kulcha in Oakville, I guess PBN is the best option. I would definitely come back again.
Mahir, our waiter, was very helpful and gave great suggestions. The paneer paratha and tandoori chicken leg made for the perfect meal, exactly what I was looking for. Also, the lady at the sweets counter was kind enough to offer me a rasgulla to taste before ordering. Really appreciated the friendly service and warm atmosphere. I’d definitely recommend this place!
PBN has an excellent team member who really know what customer service is.
The food was amazing; the butter naan and garlic naan were especially delicious.
The only thing we didn’t enjoy was the tea, which tasted stale to us. However, we did receive a refund for it.
We will return definitely. Hopefully PBN hear us and improve their tea.
Visited the place after candy collection on Halloween. We did the take out but tried the Gol-gappe at the restaurant.
Here is our food list:
– Gol-gappe *****
– Dal Makhni *****
– Shahi Paneer *****
– Malai kofta ****
– Soya chaap masala *****
– Garlic naan ****
– Butter roti ***
Food was good and quality was nice. Was little disappointed with malai kofta as it was too sweet. Also butter roti was not soft and little bit hard. Other curries were good.
Staff is really helpful. You can buy different sweet and snack like samosa and kachoi from this place.
Washroom are fine and well maintained. Parking space is quite big.
The food is amazing, made to order and accommodate the special requests.
Maher our waiter was great, very friendly and respectful and spoke so many languages including arabic with us, Made the experience even better.
Music matches the vibe and made it more authentic.
We visited about an hour before closing time, which should still be a reasonable window to dine, but the staff was rude and unwelcoming throughout. It felt like we were being rushed and treated as an inconvenience rather than customers. Simple requests were met with attitude, and there was no effort to be polite or professional.
Overall, terrible food, terrible service, and extremely rude staff. This experience left a very negative impression, and I would not recommend this restaurant to others.
Mahir was serving us, and he was amazing from start to finish. He had a pleasant smile the whole time, knew the menu really well, and didn’t get irritated even with our 100 questions. His polite and respectful way of talking made the experience even better.
I honestly wish he could serve us every time we visit! Highly recommend this place.
Muskan provided excellent customer service and gave good recommendations.
