We were visiting Syracuse and hungry, Google helped us find this gem. The parking lot was pretty full, but there was lots of seating available. You get to pick your own table or sit at the bar. Our server was very upbeat, friendly, and attentive. We ordered the mozzarella fritta and mac and cheese balls for apps. They came out quickly and were piping hot. We also ordered boneless mild wings and a cheese pizza. The wings were saucy and crispy, and the pizza was good. Overall, we had a pleasant experience, and our expectations were exceeded. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

Got take out once and dined with a group of 16 here last night. Thought the food was great both times. Among my favorites were the Scampi deep dish, Pepperoni Deep Dish, and meatballs. The chicken francaise is also tasty. Our whole crew tried tons of other dishes and all enjoyed.
The deep dish crust is very good. I’m no deep dish expert but this crust was sturdy and buttery–almost like a cross between pastry and pizza dough. I’m a NYC slice kinda girl but I really do love the deep dishes I’ve had here. I recommend you go with friends and order a couple pizzas and apps/entrees to share. The food lends it’s self well to enjoying family style. The place has a nice atmosphere–even a bit cozy since they have a fireplace. (I think it was gas or faux but still).
Met the owner and he was a nice guy. Seemed like a slim staff but the place was full at one point and we didn’t face service issues other than a slightly long wait at the bar. If you have a large party, calling to preorder your food may be a good idea.

An amazing deep dish that had the freshest tasting ingredients and a flavorful crust. The wings – special sauce ones and garlic parm ones were delicious..it was clear that the parm was fresh and not the kind in the shaker. We also did a chicken bacon ranch regular pizza which was so good! To boot we had a great server named Annie!! Check it out!

We love the food here!! The Utica greens are perfect and not soggy. We get the deep dish Carnivore pizza and it’s awesome. Our server/bartender Anne is another reason we come see, as she is very sweet and remembers us!! This place has found customers for the foreseeable future.

Very underwhelming services. I put in my order at 7:37pm , and I waited for a whole hour with no one checking on us ( we were sitting outside). I asked about my food at 8:30pm, to be told that the food is almost done and that it’d come out any minute. Waited for 20 more mins and was told they didn’t have the ingredients for my order, so had to order a different burger and finally got that past 9pm. We paid tips upfront and there was no nice gesture for the extremely delayed food. Pretty wild experience , would not come back if I don’t have to.

We unfortunately didn’t have the greatest experience just about a month back. The owner of Pump Pizza(Anthony) got in contact with me about my meal. He offered me to come back in and he himself would make this right.We got the chicken marsala and a pepperoni, sausage and onion calzone. They were phenomenal! As you can see in the pictures it was made amazingly and the taste was on point. We will definitely be back in the near future.

I’ve gotten Pump Pizza delivered before but this is the first time we went there and sat down to eat. Since we were dining in we decided to order dinners instead of their delicious pizza. To start we got the duck wings, they were delicious a good spicy sweet balance to the sauce. Their meat has a slightly gamier taste than regular chicken wings and are much larger. For dinner we got the hot oil raviolis and the Goomba panini. Our son got the fried mozzarella and fried Mac and cheese. He loved both dishes. I have to say the hot oil raviolis were my favorite part of the meal. The raviolis were perfectly al dente with the right amount of heat from the oil, they were delicious. The Goomba panini was also delicious and spicy. For dessert we got the cheesecake, Snickers and white chocolate raspberry. Both very good just wish the raspberry had a little more flavor. In all it was a good dinner. The place is very clean and nicely decorated. There was only one girl working the whole place so be patient when going, she rocked but when you do it all it can get overwhelming. She definitely handled everything well and did a great job. We will definitely be back again to try more of the dinner menu.
