This place was such a welcome surprise and what they are doing here is truly special. The moment we walked in, the warmth of the service was enough to brighten anyone’s morning. The food? Absolutely fantastic. We both had the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. Eggs were cooked to perfection(one scrambled and one over hard), and the homemade English muffin was a 10/10. The hash browns, spot on.

The true highlight, though, was our server Marisol. She was kind, bubbly, and so attentive. To top off an already great breakfast, she showed us some handmade crafts she was proud of, and we left with a seashell and bracelet that will always remind us of the experience.

All in all, this was more than just a meal and a view, it was a moment of joy. 100% recommend stopping by. You’ll leave with a full belly and a full heart. ❤️

*please let Marisol who she made our day!

First thing first.. A must go to Restaurant Experience !!!
Second if you need to start your day right and have an experience that reminds you of all that is good in the world, then this place is the place to start your day, week, month. It’s more than a meal it feeds the soul and refills your joy.
Third food is perfectly made and prepared. Served with enthusiasm and your every need is cared for by the most attentive staff I have ever experienced.
We came with 2 children under 2 years old. We were accommodated and had all we needed. The cranberry walnut bread toast is a must order. Made in house. We ended up buying a loaf to take home.
Fourth, the atmosphere and location is the best. Ample parking.
If you’re having a rough day and need a boost. If you simply want to enjoy a good meal in an amazing atmosphere, then find a new dining experience at Puffin’s.

Had a lunch date here with my besties and it was a beautiful view of the Thames River since we sat outside. For anyone who doesn’t know, this restaurant employs individuals with special needs. The staff were incredibly friendly, prompt, and so happy to serve. The restaurant is very clean. There is plenty of parking available as well.

I ordered the fish and chips and was expecting a small portion of cod for the cost. When it came out I was taken aback by how much I actually received. Perfectly cooked and I could only get through half of the larger piece (see picture) and ended up taking the rest home for a second meal.

I plan on coming again to try breakfast!

Service was good, food was good, maybe a little slower than we were expecting it to be, but eating outside on the cover deck was great for me. I do love that they give an opportunity to everyone to work!!! I will go back again for breakfast with my husband.

I found this restaurant on Google Maps. I only gave it four stars for the same reason it deserves 10. It’s mostly staffed by people who are challenged – I hope you get my drift – I can’t think of the proper word. The wait person was good but a little “rigid”, IOW he didn’t know “Healthy Options” (versus hash browns) but he was fast and efficient.
My omelette was good.
There were three tables outside on the deck, on the Thames River in Groton.
Most of all,!I liked helping people who needed it AND supporting their institution.
GO!!!!

Wonderful, friendly place. I had the breakfast wrap one day and the egg sandwich the next. Both were great. We sat on the deck overlooking the river. Very nice.
