Puffect Bakery Cafe is a local bakery that has been in Walnut, California. We specialize in custom cakes and dessert tables, but also love to satisfy our community’s sweet cravings with freshly baked cupcakes and macarons. I spent $218 on this customized cake, but my friend’s name was spelled wrong. Also, the bow doesn’t match the photo the designer and I originally discussed—the size and ruffled texture of the bow are both off. The left side shows the designer’s finished version, and the right side is the photo that was sent to me.

The cheesecake is hands down the best and my favorite; very creamy, rich, and perfectly balanced with a buttery crust that melts in your mouth. The macarons are delicate, flavorful, and made with such precision, and the cupcakes? Absolute perfection—moist, fluffy, and topped with the most heavenly frosting and floral decorations. Extremely pretty and elegant.

Really wanted to like this based on the reviews, but I was let down. The store appeared a little dusty. The kitchen was very cluttered, almost messy. Extremely pricey for macaroons that all tasted and smelled very similar, with the exception of horchata and matcha. I had picked 17, one of every flavor available, but could not tell any real difference in taste. The texture was fine. The mother was kind and nice, but the daughter was not. She was on the phone when I came in, and she was snappish and almost hostile, sounding to whomever she was speaking to. Sorry to say I would not recommend this place, and I’m definitely not getting my kids’ birthday treats from here.

I had the great pleasure of meeting with Cherie, the owner 2 weeks ago to plan a dessert table for my bestie’s birthday party. She was extremely personable, helpful, friendly and creative. I ordered 4 dozen macarons – 2 dozen of which were customized, 2 dozen assorted cupcakes, 2 dozen cake trifles, 2 dozen cheesecake cups, 2 dozen tiramisu cups, a strawberry tower and a GORGEOUS 8″ cake. She not only understood my vision, she understood how important this order was to me, and it wasn’t just “a cake order”. She sat with me for about 90 minutes to hammer out yhe dessert menu, gave me amazing design options & ideas & took the time to truly understand the flavor profiles that I wanted. She went over the intricate designs that I wanted on the cake and was even honest with me when she thought I was over-ordering, instead of just taking the sale! All of this while taking care of customers that walked in for purchases and all with an amazing demeanor! Her work was extremely meticulous. She EXCEEDED my expectations – and they are very high when it comes to food! She was extremely responsive, even when I was rapid-firing questions to her. AND! THE! PRODUCT! To say that everything was delicious would be an understatement! The frostings were not a mouthful of sugar. You could really taste the love & dedication she has not only to.her craft, but to her business. Her presentation, even down to the cake box was BEAUTIFUL! The cake and strawberry tower were definitely the centerpieces of the dessert table!! Everything was absolutely perfect! I will ALWAYS patronize her business going forward. She is truly amazing! Thank you for everything Cherie!!!

It’s in a weird spot, but their macarons are incredible. You HAVE to try the cookie butter macaron before you die, seriously. I hope if any of my reviews gets anyone to do anything, it gets you to try that cookie butter macaron. I was having a bad day after waiting at the bank to get a rent check for WAY too long but the cookie butter macaron instantly made my day.

Their cupcakes are delicious! The smores one had just the right amount of marshmallow fluff on top that was light and I was blown away by the texture and flavor of the chocolate cupcake. Would definitely come again!
