My husband and I were in town for Thanksgiving and enjoyed a great thanksgiving meal at Chef Moe’s. The food was delicious and everything tasted homemade (by someone who is actually a good cook lol). We were both pleasantly surprised by the quality of food at such a modest restaurant. Food was great, staff were friendly, and everything was very clean. If we’re ever back in the area we will definitely come back here!

We just got home from celebrating our parent’s 40th wedding anniversary in Hocking Hills. For part of our gift, we decided we wanted to cater in one of the meals to our cabin. The owner of the cabin helped me locate Chef Moe’s on Main. The experience from start to finish was awesome! Chef Moe was easy to contact and communicate with, she was quick to send me the menu options and answered any questions I had. The delivery was perfect; the food arrived at our door nice and hot! We chose the Italian style meal which included 2 varieties of pasta, grilled chicken, meatballs in sauce, pasta sauce, alfredo sauce, salad with 2 dressings, garlic loaf and rolls. Our group loved it all and the portions were plentiful. We had enough leftover that we fed everyone again the next day and still had leftovers to bring home. We can’t wait to get back to Hocking Hills and either dine in or order to the cabin again! Thank you for helping make the weekend a complete success!

First time here, tried the prime rib. First of all the service was good, young lady took care of us. BUT the prime rib was way under cooked for my liking. I know, I should have sent it back but I decided to eat around the under cooked center and give the rest to our pups at home. The food was tasty though. As for dessert, we fel the portion was small, see pics of the prime rib and the pie….

A friend and I stopped in for lunch for the first time, and decided to try the soup, salad, and dessert buffet. It’s only 10 bucks! The tomato Parmesan soup was delicious, and the salad bar was not only full of fresh toppings, but it also included some fruit, and good homemade chicken and tuna salad, as well as some other cold sides. Really liked the salads!
The desserts, however, we weren’t really impressed with, sorry to say. There was a lot to choose from so we sampled a variety, but unfortunately, we just didn’t care for any of them enough to finish them. Not saying other people wouldn’t enjoy them!
Personally, I feel if they improved the desserts and actually offered a smaller selection, it would be fantastic! Even smaller cookies instead of ginormous ones would make more sense on a buffet…
Sweet tea was fresh and perfectly sweetened!
Service was very friendly!
A very cool, literally hidden gem in the basement of a bank! What?
We will definitely come back and try something from the menu next time! The food coming out of the kitchen looked great!

My wife and I visited here last weekend and we had an awesome experience. All the staff were outstanding and hospitable. If you come here, get the sweet potato fries!!!. Cooked perfectly and served with a caramel sauce that is delicious and pairs perfectly with the fries. I had the crunch fish platter and it was some of the best whitefish I’ve ever had. Its breaded in cornflakes which is hard to find!. Every sauce is homemade and really elevates the dishes to another level. If you’re in the area, give this place a try!

We’ve been visiting Logan every few months, for many years. We had heard of Moe’s, but never tried it. Boy, have we been missing out!!! Delicious! We enjoyed our takeout dinners so much that we went the next day and dined in for lunch. Everything we’ve had was fantastic. Going again tomorrow to try out the breakfast, can’t wait!

We wanted to try Chef Moe’s prime rib. It was fantastic……best we have had. Little things, like fresh green beans, not canned, add to the great meal. The service was great. All of the servers were having so much fun which makes dining a nice experience. Moe has it going on!! . We like to support local businesses and this is one we will continue to support!!

We had the ribs. They were really tender, but they were like boiled. If it was roasted in some sauce it would have tasted better. I had the strawberry salad which was made with just iceberg lettuce. It would have been better if it was a different lettuce. It was nothing special. Although our waitress was awesome.

I heard their Reuben is really good, which I was expecting to order, but apparently, that is on their lunch menu and isn’t available at dinner? Either way, I went ahead and ordered the brisket and steak Fries. I felt like the fries were a little undercooked and the brisket was the driest piece of meat I’ve had in a very long time. It tasted like an old, dry piece of pot roast. My wife had the penne Alfredo and she said it wasn’t much to write home about either. Our service was good and this place has a nice atmosphere. I’m willing to try it again at maybe lunchtime, but I’m not in Logan very often.
