I’ve probably been here 20+ times. Every server has been very attentive/friendly and the food is consistently good. My most recent obsession meal is their shrimp a la crema. No idea why the portion size is so comically oversized, but I’m not complaining

First time visiting and I was told by family that this spot is solid. I was not expecting it to be as good as it is.
The atmosphere is colorful and cozy. The staff pleasant and friendly.
But you’re really here for the food. I got the tacos al pastor entree and it came with rice, beans, and guac. So good. I’m not from the area but when I come visit, I’ll stop by again.

Treated way better here than most places, super nice and respectful staff, great atmosphere sometimes quiet in my experience, easy-going spot. Food portions get me full and I got a second stomach. I also order to-go frequently, they accidentally messed up once, immediately made it right. Will keep coming here.

This place used to have amazing service but recently it’s massively gone downhill. Went there about 6 months ago with my mom and we waited about 1.5 hours for our food before finally giving up and leaving. It wasnt even terribly busy, so not sure why our food never came. We asked repeatedly and they assured it was coming but never did. About 5 months later I went with my husband. We ordered our food and drinks at the same time and never got our drinks. After 20 minutes of waiting we just left. Both of these times employees didnt seem to care that we left. I will never go back there. It’s sad. Used to go every weekend without fail. I dont know what changed.

We really enjoyed ourselves. Our waitress Adella was so friendly and fun. The Mexican pizza was huge and the fresh juice margarita was yummy! Husband got the seafood soup and said it was a bit bland. We will be coming back again.

The food was promptly delivered with the guacamole and salsa having that freshness where you know you’re in for a treat !
The Tequila menu is reasonable in that it caters to different price points. The main course was bountiful in quantity and taste !

We got seated without a wait. Food came quickly, but the nacho chips and cheese were burnt. The rice also tasted burnt and was really dry. The drinks were okay. The server never checked back with us. The restroom was clean and well stocked.

The food was good, classic Mexican-American menu. The service was also appreciated, all nice staff with welcoming tones. Came in when it was slower than I’m assuming it gets but was a comfortable place to stop and eat while on the road. I just thought it was very cool to find a restaurant this far up North in California with the name.

I have never had a bad meal ever from putt Varda restaurant it has always been very consistent once you’ve been there you know what to expect staff super friendly super attentive appreciate it very much. Chili Verde is the bomb I always have it with fried jalapenos and you can always ask for a spicier salsa which is unique every time
