We throughly enjoyed our time celebrating life at this spot. So much to see, taste, hear, such little time. I wasn’t prepared for what I was getting ready to experience but I was completely delighted and will be returning for more. This restaurant concept feels like school for adults. I don’t know if that was the idea, but I want to be sent to the principal’s office.
Da’Mya was our wonderful, knowledgeable waitress. Even though she just started recently and was training with Alex, she knew her way around the menu and even suggested drinks and menu items to set the night off right. Conversationally open to our time travel banter and unsolicited advice, we’ll becoming back to continue exploring the LMNO menu, cocktails, and each atmosphere that the restaurant has to offer. The menu is always better when wait staff makes suggestions for palette and experience combined. We love a helpful & playful participant! Thanks Da’Mya & Alex, we can tell that you love what you do.
There’s a reading room, a listening room, bar area, outdoor area, and other different types of dining experiences. We gotta try them all, one by one. Can’t lie, we were most impressed with the listening room that we stumbled upon while going to the restroom. The portal to get there was an amazing happening, great touch. We love a speakeasy but especially love a speakeasy with a record collection. Bartender Ashley is beyond cutesy, adorbs really! We want her making our drinks and adding all of the sparkles. We couldn’t stay too long this time but we’ll be going straight to the speakeasy next time, put a password on it to keep it available when I return.
The food was great. We went for the drinks but couldn’t resist getting nachos. Definitely wanted to be greedy and get everything on the menu. Pace yourself young grasshopper, pace yourself.
The owners tug at my stomach and heart strings in the best way. They are clearly masters of vibes. LMNO for the win.
The rice and beans were honestly the highlight. The rice doesn’t look heavily seasoned, but it’s incredibly flavorful buttery, savory, and perfectly cooked, not mushy at all. The beans have a noticeable kick, so if you prefer very mild food, keep that in mind. The spice pairs well with the richness of the rice.
I got the short rib enchiladas. The meat was the best part well cooked and flavorful but the enchiladas themselves were a bit on the drier side and slightly underwhelming compared to expectations.
Takeout was quick; I ordered in the restaurant and waited about 10 minutes. Overall, it’s a great option for a restaurant quality meal at home.
The ambiance inside is also beautiful, dark, calm, and luxurious with colorful yet monochromatic tones, textured furniture, and subtle industrial details around the bar. Very cute and well designed.
