This is not Mexican food.I asked the lady to confirm such allegations on the wheeling store and she said , this is not what we eat. I just drank 6 doubles and don’t have a buzz whatsoever. So they do regulate what you drink, So be aware! I addressed this to the bartender, and he added some more Vodka to my dream.Because he knew he was wrong!!

Really really good food! Husband said it was the best taco salad he’s ever had! Very clean restaurant including bathrooms. Spicy salsa! Very friendly staff. We were there on a busy Saturday but we got great service.

I do not eat pork or beef. Twice I confirmed with my waiter that I wanted a chicken taco in my combo. He repeated chicken back to me and I confirmed. I received my food. I took a bite of the taco. I knew instantly I had just eaten beef. The waiter confirmed it was beef. They did correct my order. The food was good. But I am sickened by the fact I ate beef, truly. Puerto is one of my favorite Muncie restaurants, but today is the last time I will ever eat there. It is not worth the risk.

Saturday late afternoon and there was a good size crowd doing early dinner.
We were seated immediately and the chips and good salsa hit the table within seconds.
I got the Fajita Pina (see photo) and it was loaded with chicken, beef, shrimp and chorizo along with onions and bell pepper.
She got the house special burrito with beef and it was huge.
Always love the rice here. Service was friendly and super fast.

The food here is pretty good and the service is much better than the other Mexican restaurants in town. I grew up living on the border of Mexico and ate at very good authentic Mexican restaurants in Mexico at least twice a week and several of their dishes at Puerto Vallarta are very authentic. So if you want to eat some good food, I highly recommend this place.

My mother-in-law and I just visited for the first time early on a Friday evening. The parking lot was full when we arrived at 5:20 and stayed full the whole time we were there, including the patio. It was fun to see so many families enjoying the place.
We both had shrimp fajita quesadillas, with guacamole added. They were huge, stuffed with big shrimp and vegetables. Then of course we had to have some flan, delicious! Though my MIL says not quite as good as her Mom’s 😉
We’ll definitely be back!

Muy delicioso! Really good Mexican food (good for small town Indiana, at least). Really good prices on margaritas — $6 for regular, $10 for jumbo. My only complaint is that the salsa was not good.

My wife and I love this place. The food and drinks are great but the best part is the staff. The waiters are very attentive and friendly. I fully recommend this place to bring your family and friends.
