The food and service here are both fantastic! The fajitas are incredible, best I’ve ever eaten. Tortillas, too! Tonight I tried the mahi Mexican soup and it knocked my socks off! I couldn’t believe how delicious it was! I love the staff too. Always helpful. We have never had a bad meal here.

This Mexican restaurant offers delicious food at reasonable prices. I often enjoy their fajitas, and my friend Phil particularly appreciates the overall value. They also provide a nice children’s menu, featuring options such as grilled chicken, chicken tenders, and tacos. There are many excellent choices available at good prices.

We had been here in the past and was great. Todays experience fell very short. Pieces of meat, supposed to be fajitas. A lot of it burnt. Complained and they were generously enough to discount $5.48, talk about insult to injury. We tried to get the waitress’ attention to show her the quality of the food we received. They were so busy, she did not come around. She finally came and we showed her the food. She apologized took the plate and never came back. A while later we the got another waitress with the bill and we pointed out the issues and told her we had spoken to the other waitress about the food and she left with the bill. Nobody came back to say anything aboutvthe food or all the charred inedible bits we were served as a meal. At this point, we had been waiting and were so hungry, my husband ate the pieces of meat (not strips but rather pieces and left over chunks) including more of the burnt pieces I had not pulled off the plate. The quality overall was a disappointment. Servuce, even more disappointing. Whenever you have a customer complain AND has to separate burnt food on another plate, you need to get your floor manager/ rest. Manager/supervisor, etc. to look at it AND speak to your customer. I have been in the restaurant industry for over 30 years and have had and sold succesfull restaurants. I would never treat my patrons this way. No response, nobody addressed it. Everyone elses meal was fine and for $190, I would have hoped for some response. Would I return? No, although it might have been an off day for the cook, how they addressed the issue was poorly handled. Unfortunate.

One of the best authentic Mexican restaurants I’ve experienced. It was not busy and we where happy we stopped. I got the combo and the wife got a half beef half chicken super burrito so after we sampled each other’s plates it was a full 4 stars for everyone in our group the food was great and the prices were fair. A great experience when you had your fill of seafood.

My wife and I go here every week if not twice a week. I have never had a meal there that wasn’t outstanding. The server Maria is the kindest most attentive person. We dine at most of the restaurants in the area but this restaurant is the only one we have never had a bad meal. Always tasty to last bite. Best Mexican place I’ve eaten at in the Keys.

Enjoyed our visit to PV for Happy Hour this Saturday and received excellent service, drinks were delicious, as well as the food. Revisited again for dinner with family and friends on Sunday and it was disappointing. In all fairness, they were very busy but, food, drinks and service all suffered because of it. Will re-visit again in the future but not during the dinner rush. (Photos are from Happy Hour) Dinner visit, not worthy of photos.

My husband and I LOVE eating at Puerta Vallarta! We make sure to bring any visiting family and friends as well. We’ve not had a bad meal, and hope we never do. The only time service was a tad slow was when they were super busy. That’s to be expected. Highly recommend this place!
