So delicious and affordable! We got 3 meals, a few sides and drinks for less than $25 and the portions are generous! We all had enough left overs to make it another meal.
My Puertorican husband said this made him feel like he was back on the island, food and atmosphere were so authentic feeling. The staff was so kind and welcoming. We will 100% be back regularly and I suggest you check it out 🙂

Always great, portions are large, people are friendly. I’ve tried just about everything on the lunch menu here and it’s all fantastic, you really can’t go wrong here.
Personally most of the meals I get from here last two meals, so lunch and dinner are covered. All the more value and reason to keep coming back

The owners are super nice and they seem like they want you to enjoy the food. It is an outdated truck however and the food is ok. Not terrible not awesome. It’s a quick lunch spot to get some quick spanish food. Fritters have good taste but they stay at the window for too long and become stale. I enjoyed the fact they have drinks like Malta and Cola Champagne wich you don’t find many places.

The location is way out of northeast Lakeland, closer to Auburndale. Most of the food was great authentic Puerto Rican style food, however, the Shrimps “Al ajillo” was missing the key ingredient, garlic! Also, the person who served me did not add the side of coditos. When I called the lady attending was very nice but didn’t know the prices nor the name of plates I was inquiring about. I give 3 stars because of the whole experience. I will try it again because the tripleta sandwich was super tasty and no other place in Lakeland or nearby will make it as such.
Update: The owner/representative replied and said that the plate that is advertised in the pictures with codito doesn’t come with it. Also for the Camarones al ajillo, I was instructed to let them know that I want garlic on my garlic-based plate… OK? I will visit this place soon, let’s see who it goes.

Amazing place and food, much better than anything McDonalds or Burger King can offer you, it’s genuinely my favorite food place. The quality and customer service is just above and beyond and its only about $10 for a really good portion of food. They offer authentic puerto rican style food and with that price and customer service I will definitely be coming back again and again.

I have been wanting to stop at this place for years and it just never seemed to be the right time ie: to late, to early, or just nit open at all. Well I stopped at 1013pm and they were closed already but insisted on cooking me something! I didn’t want to be that p.i.t.a. customer so we settled on two homemade empanadas one beef and one lobster. Omg they were awesome. I could tell it was clean oil and it was definitely homemade. Needless to say I was. Back the next day for 3 beef and 1 chicken(not all for me of course only cause they were”no more lobster. Plus I got a taste of one of her homemade special dishes…Omg delicious
