Worse Vietnamese restaurant ever!!!! We ordered Bun bo Hue, banh canh and grilled chicken rice plate. Bun bo had no Bun bo flavor, extremely salty like a bowl of salt water. The meat is a bunch of stringy thin noodles like looking meat and taste very old (not sure what kind of stuff that is, look at the picture I took from scooping out from the bowl) Banh canh has very weird taste and old pork meat, at least it does look like meat but tasted like the pork has cooked over a week ago. The rice plate has a very weird look, chicken doesn’t taste good but at least this chicken do not taste like over a week old, on top of the rice plate instead of green onion (mo hanh), its the white onion chop, very strange!!! I don’t know other dish they have there are eatable but definitely not the one we ordered. If you want real Vietnamese food, don’t come here. However I do give 3 stars for the lady who served, she came and took order and kind of nice.

If you like authentic Vietnam food, then give this place a try. I always get the vermicelli salad bowl at Vietnamese restaurants, and the one at this place was the best I’ve had in San Antonio, it was fresh and delicious

This place was pretty good ! I would rate in my top 5 places to eat pho. The Vietnamese eggross were very good as well ! I loved the wrap on it. Very good texture. Pad Thai was also pretty good as well. Also got a rice with lots of stuff in it. Very good ! A little greasy

Not the best, but close and it is still great and the waitress made it an awesome and authentic experience.

I moved to San Antonio in 2021, and naturally, I had to find the best pho place in town. I have been almost everywhere, and Pho Hong Phat checks every box. Delicious food, great portions, amazing prices, and kind staff! I love this establishment, and would recommend to anyone who enjoys Vietnamese cuisine.

The best Vietnamese in San Antonio. Super authentic. Always recommended by Vietnamese people at the nail salons. Good size portions. Even the desserts are well portioned and priced. They’ve never had a bad/off day. Fast service. Come hungry. 420 foodie approved

I got the Bun, and some fried egg rolls, really been trying to find authentic Vietnamese like Snows on Broadway, let me say, not even close. Food was bland, the pork was so small, the noodles were dry. The egg rolls, way too fried, they were so freaking greasy, like beyond greasy. My fav food is Vietnamese, i see other high ratings on here and I’m like, wow, the audacity.

We used to come here before work…best broth in the city Started with the summer roll then I tried the bird’s nest with the meat/seafood combo on top – the crispy noodles soften while soaking up the broth very filling; Anne was there…good to see a familiar face & the request for a bowl of pho broth was an added bonus.

I love this place! It’s cozy. Everyone makes you feel like your one of the family. The food is absolutely delicious. My favorite is the Lotus Salad and Thai Tea. One day I wasn’t very hungry and order egg rolls. Anne showed me how to wrap it in lettuce to make it more of a meal. Wonderful!
