Reviews
Service was friendly but did take quite a long time to get our drink and food orders in. After that, the food did come out fairly quickly.
-Homemade Focaccia
-Garlic Cheese Bread
-Fries with Calabrese Sauce
-Rita Pizza
-Pesto Vegetable Pasta
-Espresso Martini
-Canoli
Everything was delicious and prices were as to be expected for the area. Views from patio were very pretty / nice breeze.
Would recommend for a nice meal with a medium size group.
Original review: Overall I enjoyed celebrating a special night with my family at Pueo’s. The food was really good and I appreciated the variety they offered. I will say that our waitress was very rushed and did not do any small talk – she did not ask where we were from, why we were visitng, whether we were celebrating anything etc. The flatware is really cheap and should be upgraded for the caliber restaurant this is. You will want to be certain that you get a reservation because the restaurant gets packed quickly! I also discovered they are charged credit card fees so be prepared for that rediculousness.
Our waiter, Calvin, told us to try the tiramisu for dessert, and I’m so glad we listened because it was the best I’ve had in my entire life. I was genuinely sad when it was finished — real heartbreak. We’re already planning to go back again before our trip ends.
When we arrived, we sat in the outdoor area and the most beautiful, colorful pink sunset appeared — I’m going to share a picture because it seriously set the whole vibe. It felt like the universe was saying, “Yes, you picked the right place.”
And you can’t miss the wall of celebrity photos with the owner when you walk in — everyone from Rob Lowe to Dave Grohl to Ivanka Trump has eaten here with the ownerIt totally adds to the charm and makes you think, “Okay, we’re in for something good.”
This place seriously is the best spot I’ve ever eaten at on this island. I could live off this food. With the whole trip being overcast and rainy, this restaurant honestly saved the vacation. It’s worth traveling all the way from Utah just to eat here.
So grateful we found it, and already counting down until round two!
I also must add that we had dinner reservations for two ahead of time and had a choice between sitting inside and outside. We sat outside, but there was a roof above and fans, so no bugs or flies got in the way.
We did make a reservation since it was our anniversary and we’re asked if we were celebrating anything special and we told them. No mention from our waiter acknowledging, oh well. We did order dessert and it was again just okay.
I summary this place as just okay.
Sadly, they ran out of tiramisu.
So on our way out, we made reservations!
Traveling alot and eating at fine dining many times a year, I was extremely impressed by the food. I forgot to take pictures of the main meal however, got the tiramisu!
Darcy our server gave great suggestions on food and made sure everything was perfect! The chef did amazing with the red wine reduction with an imported wine from Italy. I almost felt as if we were in Italy!
I can’t recommend this place enough. Definitely stop and check it out.
We started with two cocktails and the meatball appetizer; both were excellent. For dinner, we ordered the veal and a vodka sauce pasta, and each dish was delicious and well-prepared.
For two entrées, one appetizer, and two drinks, the total came to about $150 before tip, which we felt was very fair for the quality and overall experience. The food quality was outstanding, and we would absolutely recommend this place and return again.
We happened to notice this restaurant while fueling up nearby—the lively patio seating glowing in the sunset really caught our eye. Curious, we decided to come back and check it out.
We were seated on the patio, but on our way through, we saw that the indoor seating also looked stylish and comfortable. Just inside the entrance stood a striking red maple tree, giving the dimly lit interior a chic and cozy atmosphere.
We ordered the Crudo appetizer ($25), the Short Rib Pizza ($29), the Eggplant Parm as our main dish ($28), an Iced Tea ($5), and a Virgin Frozen Mocktail ($7). The pizza was flavorful, and the eggplant was especially delicious—soft, well-seasoned, and beautifully complemented by melted cheese.
Service was excellent. Even though the restaurant was quite busy, our server was courteous and attentive, and they kindly offered to take a photo for us. We were lucky to catch the sunset just as we were leaving, making for a memorable and satisfying evening.
