An absolute favorite for delicious, authentic Indian food! The dishes are always full of flavor and the staff is friendly. We went for their weekend lunch buffet. The buffet offers a great variety: from flavorful vegetarian and non-vegetarian curries to fresh naan, biryani, desserts, and chai. They also have a live dosa counter on Sunday. Parking is plenty. Overall good experience. Plan to go early to avoid crowds and waiting time.

Apollo fish fry: Kind of dry and mealy. Rogan Josh curry: Chunks of somewhat tough lamb. Cheese stuffed garlic naan: This quesadilla -like bread was the best of all. I could have had it as the main course and skipped the other entrees.

Mediocre. Dosas were a bit thick, likened more to a French crepe than a thinly crisp South Indian treat. Chili Chicken, a decent easy-to-share appetizer.
Extensive weekend buffet available Sundays.

On of the best Indian food in bay area. They have lots of options in their menu. Tried their buffet once it’s good worth the money.
Customer service is excellent and good ambience too. When asked they have a private party area as well for bday parties its a good choice
From Al a carte i have tried their lamb vindaloo and chicken dum biriyani
Both were so good

Have to edit my original review. After returning 3 times, I am sad to say the quality has not been consistent. My husband won’t even eat there anymore, after each visit has gotten worse. Last time we went the cucumber salad didn’t even have cucumbers! Just lettuce and carrots. Strange. I still swear they have the best garlic cheese naan.
Came in about 2:30pm on a Tuesday to try some Dal Makhani Curry, Samosas and garlic cheese naan. Oh my goodness. Delicious is not good enough! The food was fresh and so flavorful. I ordered to go, and as soon as I got in the car I took a nibble of the bread and immediately wanted to go back in and order more. Now I can’t wait to go back. Thanks!

Spacious restaurant that’s great for large groups. Lots of seating when we went on a random Thurs for what turned out to be a relatively affordable dinner. Staff was really friendly and they were able to make the curries fairly mild so the kids were willing to eat the Veggie Korma, Palak Paneer, and Butter Chicken. Naan looks store bought, but it was sufficient. Mango lassi was great.

The pictures do not do justice to the flavor! The butter chicken was sweet with a spicy punch at the end. The chicken was so tender it truly was like butter. Everything was delicious. We did take out because of the holiday but next time we will dine in.

Started with appetizers, the gobi manchurian was tasty and they were able to adjust the spice. Tried the mutton which was good as well, even the family liked it. The butter chicken is good as well, less creamy than most places. The interior is spacious with nice lighting fixtures. Waiter was very attentive and gave us complimentary dessert. One final note we are missing pictures of some of the entrees because we ate them as soon as they came to the table.

Had a good experience with food here. Being from Sunnyvale, never thought there could be better south indian elsewhere. This place in Belmont proved me wrong. All we ordered were dosas. Every dosa was well cooked and well filled. The chutneys and sambhar were very good especially the tomato chutney. They also serve ghee podi with dosas which is a nice addition!! Ambience of the restaurant is average.
Note: If you search dosa in this area and google gives Dosa Point as one of the options, that and this place are one & same place.
