The meal was exceptional and came out quickly. The staff was very attentive and worked well as a unit from hostess to waiter to food runner. As for atmosphere, it is beautifully decorated and quite lively. We will definitely return.

First time here on the advise of good friends. Waitstaff were very attentive. Not only do you get chips and salsa, but refried beans as well. I had a crispy chile relleno and tamale, both were delicious.

Still the best carne asada in town, and still quick and attentive service! Hadn’t been in for quite a while – they’ve remodeled inside – new floors, chairs, etc (but still the same classic murals on the walls). Glad to see that some places can stay good even as they update. Prices have gone up a bit too but not out of step with how that’s happening everywhere. I love that this is still one of the only places I’ve found that serves both bean dip and salsa with the complimentary chips. Top notch place all around..

Arrived at 7:15pm in Saturday 8/9/25… Pleasantly greeted and promptly seated in a cozy both with a South facing view of I25 and undeveloped open land. Due to the layout we are quite comfortable and almost feel as if we’re the only ones here even though there is a fairly packed house. We were immediately served ice could crystal clear waters all around along with chips and tasty in house made salsa. The chips were light, crispy and freshly made in house as well. Our server Luis was very friendly and absolutely professional from the get go. We ordered cherry colas and I had a Michelada with non-alcoholic Corona… It was amazing. At 7:31pm our Chicken Fajitas, large Relleno and chimichanga combo and chicken tenders w/fries arrived at our table piping hot… Right after receiving our second bowls of chips and salsa which were refilled promptly without us having to ask. The food was delicious and every staff member was so courteous and friendly… So polite and respectful… Sad to say it was actually surprising just because it has become so rare in today’s society. The entire place including the bathrooms is very well kept and CLEAN. My food was amazing and my daughter liked her chicken tenders… Fries were good… Similar to McDonald’s in cut and fry. The only thing we noticed that they could improve upon is adding a bit more meat to the fajitas. I was pleasantly surprised by my first experience here… I’m very glad we chose this place… They are probably my new go to Mexican Restaurant in the NOCO area… Food is delicious and the people are even better! Thank you everybody at Pueblo Viejo!!!

I love the food and service. Excellent alcoholic drinks too. It’s not cheap but that’s typical for most restaurants these days. My only complaint is the booth when you first walk in to the left. It rocks back and forth whenever the person behind you gets up or moves around. It’s so annoying, so I would recommend a different table. Other than that, I give it a big thumbs up.

It’s always good and satisfying. Great flavor in their salsa and smother sauces. Ok. Today, we sat on the patio! We had a great time celebrating Mothers Day. The Chili Verde burrito, tamale, and chili were delicious. The adelita dessert was WAY bigger than we thought for 2, lol. It could feed 4 easily. Thank you for the rose to celebrate Mothers Day. UPDATE:we just celebrated a fun day out with a delicious flan and dinner. It’s still delicious.

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants but the last couple times I was there the food quality was poor. I had a Chili rellano that had no pepper in it and was just stuffed with mozzerella.Its not cheap to eat out and im sad to say that they really disappointed me. Will not eat there again!
