So much food for my to go order that I literally had to put the container on a plate bc it was so heavy! I couldn’t finish my food so I’ll have leftovers, which is great in this economy. The flavor of the food is great, they changed the salsa recipe which is a plus bc it used to be very watery and bland. Will definitely order again.

I ordered the chicken Fajita burrito and side order of rice and beans. The food came out in literally 5mins…that was a red flag because what meal is done in that time??? I took a bite of my chicken and it was swishy/rubbery like, barely warm, and had a strange flavor. I was so hungry that I had chewed and swallowed that bite before I realized what was happening, so I looked at another piece, then another piece…then ANOTHER piece and they ALL appeared pink and almost bloody…I was disgusted! I showed everyone at the table and we all agreed the chicken was clearly RAW! The server (a man) asked if everything was okay and we all showed him the raw chicken and asked if he could take it back and take off our bill. He looks at us like we are ridiculous, says nothing, and walks off. I then see him with a knife cutting into my burrito to verify what we told him. I then see him go the manager and ask her to take it off the bill. The manager comes to the computer right behind us to do that, but never stops to say anything to us….I mean this not a hair in the food situation, this is RAW meat! The server comes back and never asks if we need anything else and dumps the check off. I found out that my tiny baby side of rice and beans was 6 dollars….Like what kind of place is this? The food was awful and the menu is inaccurate because the images and everything is a rip off of the old restaurant that use to be here. If you want GOOD Mexican food, go to Guadalajara in Dalton, GA!
Also, one last thing to add, my husband ordered the Philly sandwich based off the beautiful photo on the menu…but it came out? It was so small, it was literally a hot dog bun stuffed with meat. This place is a joke! DO NOT EAT HERE! I am pregnant and left very sick! I had to go lay down in the car while everyone finished up! I probably have food poisoning, and this had better hurt my unborn baby or I will contact my attorney.

I only gave one star because I couldn’t give zero. I ordered Texas fajita nachos which come with shrimp steak and chicken and I did have three shrimp I had two pieces of steak that were like shoe string width and about an inch long and it took me awhile to find the chicken but I finally found two little bitty pieces that were about a half inch long , there was no cheese I paid $18.49 for what idk. I ordered online and as I was checking out it asked for a tip and I was going to be nice and leave a tip but then I noticed off to the right there was a service charge fee only a $1.39 but I was like why are you trying to force me to pay for service and ask for a tip at the same time so that kind of annoyed me so I didn’t leave a tip. The $1.39 can be their tip but my real tip is season your food add cheese to your nachos and add plenty of meat it was nasty with no seasoning. It tasted like a disaster . Never again will I go there

I will ALWAYS pick this Mexican restaurant over any other. Tavo takes cares of us and if we have another waiter or waitress, they do too. Their food is amazing and their drinks are ice cold.

The food and service were not as good as last time, however they appeared to be short-staffed. The only issues I had the first time is that I ordered chicken for my taco salad but got beef, but it was still good. And they sat us at a long table with four small children next to some sort of a water leak cuz there was a bucket sitting in the floor that the kids slipped over and fell. They had no kind of a wet floor sign or anything around that area

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been here in the past couple months, but one thing I can say, I am NEVER disappointed. The food is always fresh, out quickly, and tastes amazing. Best Mexican food around! The staff is so friendly. Honestly, I would say the best in Dalton. I see some reviews to where you feel rushed. They only keep asking you, so you don’t feel like you aren’t being attended to. If some of you wasn’t asked from time to time. You would write a review of them not asking for your order and not being helped. Keep that in mind. This is a family owned restaurant, who cares about their customers. If you want good quality service and good food, this is the place to go. Also, they leave a ticket on the table just in case you are ready. If you aren’t, they will be glad to take another order with no questions asked. We’ve been going here for 10 years, and not once had a bad experience. Thank you, and we will continue to come!
