Pueblita Mexican Restaurant has been serving the community for 22 years, and it’s easy to see why they’ve lasted! We tried their new menu items and everything delivered. The birria flautas were crispy and flavorful, the Torta Chingona (carne asada + chile relleno!) was stacked and satisfying, and the camarones a la diabla had the perfect spicy kick.
The mojarra frita was fresh and crispy, and even the pancakes were fluffy and delicious. Drinks are a must from the massive mimosa to the margarita flight and the Un Día Sin Ti margarita. Great food, generous portions, and a fun vibe. Definitely coming back!

Birria Tamales – These went viral last year and I get the hype! They were incredibly flavorful, moist, and a definite must-try. 10/10 recommend! ✔️✨
Torta – I tried their torta loaded with Carne Asada, melted cheese, Chile Relleno, and all the works. This thing was HUGE, delicious, and super filling. A total comfort food moment.
Chilaquiles – So good! You can get them red ❤️ or green and both hit the spot. The beans and rice were also tasty and balanced the plate perfectly.
Drinks – If you’re into alcoholic drinks, the margarita flight is a must! You get a variety of flavors so you can sip a little bit of everything. Loved the variety! For non-alcoholic options, the guava drink was super refreshing, and the horchata was creamy and delicious. ✨
Overall, Pueblita is such a wholesome, delicious spot for Mexican food in Upland. Great vibes, amazing food, tasty drinks — what more do you need?

Location: Okay, Parking: Decent, Service: Okay, Worth the price for food received: A touch high, Overall: First time try and the location was different from where normal food joints are placed. So, the first pass, we missed it. The restaurant was not busy, and this was good as they only had one server working all the tables. Still, she seemed to get to everybody, which was nice. Out of all the meals chosen, only one was not enjoyed. I would like to taste that dish first before I feel it was not good. Would I go back? Yes, if I am in the area, I will try this place again. For now, 3.8 stars…

I was in Upland for work today and had a craving for Mexican food, so I decided to check out Pueblito Mexican Restaurant. I’m so glad I did! I kicked things off with the Chilaquiles with Carne Asada, which came with both red and green salsa. The Carne Asada was incredibly tender and juicy, and the Chilaquiles were perfectly flavorful—just the right balance of spice and richness.
Next, I tried the Chicharrón Tacos, and they were absolutely amazing. The crispy, savory chicharrón was cooked to perfection. To top it all off, my wife and I shared the baked potato, and wow, it was like nothing I’ve ever had before. The flavors were unique, and it was a must-try.
I’ll definitely be coming back to Pueblito. Highly recommend it for anyone in the area craving authentic Mexican food!

I hate writing bad reviews, but something needed to be said. I was extremely disappointed in every part of this meal. My mojito tasted like sink water, my taquitos were burnt, the queso fundido was half oil, and served with the wrong type of tortillas (why ask if you don’t listen to my selection). My husband’s burrito was also just ehhh. We spent nearly $100 for just the 2 adult meals (we do love supporting small business) but boy that was not worth it. We won’t be going back. ever.

Food was amazing! We also got tamales for Christmas Eve. We got the birria and chicken verse tamales. The birria were to die for. The chicken was good as well. The only reason service is a 3 is because they seemed to be short handed, no fault of the servers. Since I’ve only been once not sure if this is typical or just that day. Either way would for sure go back for the food.

They do not answer their phones. Never got the food. No updates on the food. Have to do a chargeback with the bank just to achieve a resolution.

Returned to enjoy the flavorful Chilaquilles Rojo (red) with a side of rice and beans. Chips and salsa are fresh and so good they’re addicting. Jamaica drink was perfectly sweet and refreshing. I managed to eat everything because it was so delicious. Friendly attentive service. The remodeled interior is very impressive.
