It’s a cool spot and not very busy so service is quick! They have a classic menu of tacos, nachos, and more! Their taco Tuesday includes beef, chicken, or vegetarian for $2.50 each. It’s a good deal! I tried one of all three and the veggie was my favorite because the added cheese and sour cream! The waitress is so nice and sweet, she even unwrapped my straw for me and made sure I got the Diet Coke not the regular. Great location too!

Do not understand why this place is 3.9 stars? Service was fast, portions were HUGE, and the place is so pretty! Will definitely be coming back!

Iconic but still somehow a hidden gem, this classic spot is exactly what you need it to be if you’re craving good food in a relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of seating and attentive waitstaff make this restaurant a must if you’re in Logan

Best Mexican food I’ve ever had in my life..and that’s saying a lot. Not crowded during the Super Bowl. Great interior decor..it’s like I owned the place

Been here 3+ times, as it is a walk from my place. Each time, I order the menudo (so my review may be biased). I love the menudo here, it is not heavy and does not have hominy. I appreciate this as some places make the soup mostly hominy, way too salty, and not much tripe. This serving has much tripe and is such a value for the price paid. I always have left overs for dinner! I’ve also had the tamal, and some bites from friends I brought with me (burrito, tostada, and margarita). All were good, the margarita didn’t have much alcohol but still tasty. Once again, I love the proximation to home and menudo soup. Bonus points for the beautiful Our Lady of Guadalupe right when you enter the doors!

Got food poisoning this last time we went. It’s unfortunate because it tasted great.

This place should be busier and sadly isn’t maybe because it’s not as trendy as some other spots in the neighborhood. The food is truly fresh and not heavy or greasy. Great chimichanga and tacos. Cocktails could use some work and fountain sodas weren’t properly working but had can alternatives. Hopefully people give them a shot and that could help fix some things they need to round out the place to make everything excellent not just the food. I’ll continue to support!

It has been a long time that I’ve been to this place, the restaurant has been here for about thirty years so decided to stop by. The restaurant is big, and since it was breakfast time, there was not a lot of people inside. Our server did not say her name but she has been working here for some time now, she did recommend some items so we ordered Jamaica and Horchata water, both very sweet so perhaps next time I will order a smaller one. The plates are big so they can be shared, the Shrimp fajitas were good, not spicy, and the Enchiladas Poblanas were good as well. Typical Mexican dishes that come with a side of rice and beans of your choice, I think she mentioned 3 types of beans and 2 of rice. The food didn’t take long to arrive and our server was helpful and came around to ask a few times if we needed anything extra. As we were leaving, more people started coming in so perhaps lunch is busier.

Martha our waitress was so kind and helped us out when we were hungry and everything was to close. They stayed open long enough for us to enjoy our meal peacefully and the food doesn’t disappoint. If you want great food this is the spot located in Logan Square neighborhood right next to the Logan Theater.

Disarmingly good and inexpensive margaritas and “Margarita-Rita” (beer + frozen marg) in a variety of flavors including mango, passion fruit, and guava. Proprietor is lovely.
