I had the linqua and cheek street tacos. I really like the slice of Avocado on each. The meat was very good and flavorful. The tortillas were average. All in all the tacos get a 8.1. I also got the rive and beans. The beans were creamy with extra butter if you like that. The rice was mushy and tasted like they were yesterdays stored in a plastic container in the fridge. Like a 2.1 for the rice. The waitress did not really understand English although after showing her a photo I was able to get the fried jalapenos I like. However didn’t have Tajene on them. Lol. If they would have a bit better understanding of English it would benefit them a bit. The price seemed to not match the order however it was not worth trying to get an itemized bill. Ended up being $25 per person for lunch.

Kind staff, fast service, the restaurant is always in good condition. My family of 6’s bill is always around $60 so about $10 per person which is not bad at all! Recommend this place if you live in West Liberty or just passing through

I was driving through and saw this place.
Went in and sat down. I ordered combination plate #5. My waitress spoke little English. I pointed at #5 on the combination plate. Enchilada, quesadilla, chili relleno. She pointed at it as well and asked what kind of sauce I wanted. I said green. ( at least that’s what I thought she asked. Apparently I was right. The meal came out and it was not what I ordered. It was two enchiladas. When the waitress came to ask me about the meal I pointed out it was not what I ordered. There was a communication barrier. She had her supervisor come and I tried to explain that I had ordered combination plate #5. She pointed out my meal was lunch special # 5.
I said that was fine. I will eat it even though I did not order it. I had ordered combination plate #5. She said ok.
When I went to pay my bill was $24.00
Apparently, she thought I was ordering combination plate #5 to go. I paid.
I told her I did not order that. I paid for it anyway. Told her someone else can eat it.
And left.
Otherwise, food was good. Nothing exceptional.
Clean place.

Food was very flavorless, and bean had a strange, unwelcome taste. Overall- not good.
