Public School 310 – A Gastropub with Flavor and Fun

Public School 310 is such a fun spot with a creative schoolhouse theme and an easygoing vibe. We ordered the burger, chicken wings, and salad, and everything hit the mark.
• The burger was juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked just right — definitely one of the standouts.
• The chicken wings had great flavor and just the right amount of crispiness, perfect for sharing.
• The salad was fresh and bright, balancing out the richness of the other dishes nicely.

The atmosphere is lively without being overwhelming, and the staff was attentive and welcoming. It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy comfort food with a creative twist and feel right at home.

Definitely a spot I’d come back to when in the area!

Great vibes.
The service was on point, prompt, helpful, welcoming.
The cocktail was delish.
The steak with chimichuri was a good size & price. Delectable & perfectly cooked medium rare.
Perfect spot to hang out with friends or on a date.

Came for happy hour with bestie. Had smash sliders and wonderful cocktails – extremely well made and yummy! Layne was our server and kept things rolling, took great care of us and made our night very enjoyable. Will definitely be back sooner than later! 🙂

I have been coming as a customer to Public School Restaurant for at least five years and really love this restaurant. The food is always superb and stellar.

Javier has been my waiter several times and he has always kind, compassionate and patient. He held it down at the bar tonight along with Alex who has always been friendly, kind, and a great server. Thank you both for always making me feel welcomed and supported when I dine in here!

Warmly,
Marguerite

Best Impossible Burger ever — so juicy and flavorful! I added American cheese, and it was perfect. My parents had the fish and salmon plates and loved them, said they were absolutely delicious. We also tried the cauliflower wings — very tasty!
Service was okay; I didn’t exactly feel the warmest welcome when we walked in. The waiter with glasses made me feel a bit dumb when I asked menu questions, but hey that’s ok, you can’t have it all. The outdoor seating area looks really fun with lots of TVs, and they’ve got great happy hour specials too.

This a review is focused on Public School 310’s Impossible Burger. I don’t eat Impossible products all the time, but I think this Burger easily stands out because it has character. The choice of ingredients results in a well-thought out veggie burger.

The arugula and peppered mushrooms are complimented by the tomato jam, which leans on the sweeter side. It doesn’t overpower the other flavors. The parmesan crisp is a great touch and adds a new texture layer: crunchy. The brioche is fresh and delicious.

I’ve also ordered multiple appetizers and sides. Their tots are really great, I recommend those.

As I mentioned, I’ve visited throughout the years to order this meal and always had a good customer service experience. The atmosphere is great, and the decor gives a cozy / creative vibe.

Call me a member of The Beatles because I was a-Paul-ed by the service my friends and I received tonight. While we were about to be seated one of the hosts, blonde woman with tattoos was communicating with the other about our party and I heard her whisper “put them in the back”. We were then seated and then we ordered truffle fries for the table. After they brought them out we were planning on eating there but not once did a waiter come to our table or ask if we were doing good. We ate the fries and then waited a bit longer to see if maybe we’d be helped but then I had to waive down a waitress to even look at our table to bring us the check. Worst experience I’ve had at a restaurant.

Still a solid 3 stars. Not amazing, but it’s “meh”. It’s a meal. I ordered the Torta de Carnitas with a side of Mac & Cheese and the fried pickles. The pickles were so salty. I’m not sure if it’s the brand of pickles they are using or if the batter itself is heavily salted, but I could only get through 6 pieces before I had to give them up. The Torta de Carnitas is literally just a sandwich, and not a great one. It’s on a multigrain (or whole wheat) ciabatta, with more lettuce than anything else. There was minimal carnitas in it and minimal sauce. Overall, the sandwich was incredibly dry. The pickled onions added a strange ‘zing’ which didn’t work out, so I pulled them all out of the sandwich. Sad that it wasn’t worth it.
