This place really impressed us! Food is excellent! Cocktails were great! Talking with the bartenders, they change the menu with the seasons, and they have some good wing specials.
They made some custom gin cocktails for me that were very good and the ones off their menu have a combination of classic and new drinks that were all tasty.
The maple Dijon pork ribeye was the best thing we had all night! Highly recommend

Wow this was honestly one of the best meals I’ve had around town. Food was very well done and fresh. A proper burger with fresh fries and even the sweet potato fries were excellent.
Service was great as well staff was very friendly and gave great recommendations.

We live in Dawsonville so not too far away from the Public House. I must say I cannot believe it took us this long to visit. It was absolutely worth it. First of all, while we waited for our table, our kids were able to play Connect Four which helped pass the time so much! Once the table was available, we sat down in a very large and comfortable booth which was perfect for our family of 5. I was worried they might not have a kids menu, but they did! We ordered our appetizers and drinks which came in a timely manner. The chicken potstickers were really good. Our food came shortly after and did not disappoint. The kids portions were good and their food tasted real good. My husband ordered shrimp and grits to which he described them as the “best shrimp and grits” he ever tasted. I had the steak which was done to perfection and was very flavorful. The sides were yummy as well. I liked how the sides for the steak were handpicked as that was one less decision I had to make that night. . The service was exceptional and overall I give the place a 10 out of 10. We will be back.

2nd edit- ok our food was horrible but thankfully our service was good. The fried mushrooms were horrible tonight, luke warm at best, but the waitress did comp us since they were barely touched. Never had an issues with service but food was not as great this time. But bc of previous edit since they no longer sell the only thing I truly enjoyed there (ahi tuna tacos) i will no longer be visiting. Edited- what ever you do don’t fall in love with a specialty. I only been a handful of times and tonight will be my last. I usually come for the fish tacos which are so amazing (see pics) and only do i come here for those tacos. Well unbeknownst to me they change their menu up (often apparently) so my rating for them changed to 3 stars bc they dont put it on the menu (changes often) and i am super upset that i will no longer have the best ahi tuna tacos in town. We have been a handful of times and always enjoy the food. This time we ran into a problem. 1st issue way, I always sub the side with the ahi tuna tacos for chips. The gal was sweet but seemed hesitant that I could do that, I did let her know if always do that. They did honor that as a substitute. When our main course came both my husband and I didnt get something that was part of meal until 5-7 min later. One being my side of chips and his gravy for his chicken fried steak. Also this time the chicken fried steak looked older and really dark. My ahi tuna tacos tasted amazing as always (thats all I ever ordered bc I love them so much) but i noticed there wasnt as much salsa as normal that I get on the tacos still tasted amazing. Absolutely would go back again. The inside can get a little loud but outside seating is available for a more relaxing dinner option. Service was great we didn’t encounter any problem getting drinks or refills.

We enjoyed this new establishment just barely north of Dahlonega and just a few short minutes to downtown. The grits were amazing and the burger is indeed one of the best around. They were very busy on a Sunday at lunch, but the staff did great and the food was too notch. My wife and I will be back to enjoy more of the menu soon!

You want some real food? I just drove 30 mins from Dawsonville on the cook Clints word, let me tell you he did not exaggerate at all. I had surf and turf and it was phenomenal!! All of it!! The mac and cheese is the best I’ve had in GA! I do not mind driving 30 mins for food that good. Thank you Clint, I will be back often.

We discovered this gem a couple of weeks ago. One of our favorite places now!!! Every dish has been cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. We especially love the mixed berry cobbler. It is light. You can really taste the fruit. We just drove all the way from Ellijay just for the cobbler last night (didn’t take a pic). Servers have all been amazing, especially Elliot. She was awesome last night! Can’t wait to go back again!

Prime Rib Wednesday lived up to its name. Our servings were remarkably lean for Prime Rib but the next table had fattier servings. The meat was preceded by a Caesar salad with generous cheese shavings and croutons and accompanied by a jacket potato (I had mine “loaded”). The main meal was $29 which was good value, and we followed it with a light and delicious Lemoncello cake (sponge).
