Known as the eclectic neighborhood gastropub, Pubbelly Sushi brings a hyper-creative fusion of Japanese and Latin-inspired dishes by chef José Mendín. When Mendín founded the first Pubbelly, his intention was singular: Create a place where chefs could eat high-quality, affordable dishes in a cool atmosphere. Pubbelly became an instant locals’ favorite when it opened in 2010. A decade later, it continues to be embraced by the market, winning the 2020 Miami New Times Readers’ Choice Award for Best Sushi, and maintaining a spot on every tourist’s must list.

We had a great night at Pubbelly Sushi, and Anahi made it even better.
The Butter Krab Roll and Short Rib & Truffle Dumplings were outstanding, and everything hit the table quickly and fresh. The kitchen was on point, but the service was next level.
Anahi was friendly, efficient, and genuinely attentive. She made sure we had everything we needed without ever missing a beat. You can tell she takes pride in what she does.
Amazing food, even better service. We’ll definitely be back and asking for her again.

First time going for my birthday dinner with friends. Not too many people were around for a Saturday late afternoon dinner so it added for a more cozy and intimate atmosphere at my table. I had ordered the crab butter roll, Korean wings, and Coco Yuzu ice cream; gotta say they all live up to the hype. Super delicious, all fresh, flavors were so bomb. 10/10 would come again, and I even had my server sing happy birthday with us (Giovani); he was really patient and attentive with us. Hype man vibes, really nice.

Have come to Pubbelly a few times and can say it’s a great spot. Very good weekday deal where you get an appetizer, bao bun, roll, grilled item, and desert. Very delicious rolls, especially for people wanting to try some more unique items. The staff is always attentive as well. A server had a small hiccup and spilled water on some of my sushi, and them and the manager did not hesitate to give me a new roll even though I asked for just half to replace the wet ones. Highly suggest.

Really great service today. Our server Jovanny had such a positive attitude and took great care of us. Drinks were always refilled, food came out just how we asked, and they were super kind the whole time. Dessert was delicious. Definitely made our visit better.

Very tasty started with the short rib dumplings followed by the Acevichado which was the absolute fav! Along with the Lychee Coco Martini with was a nice twist with gin and coconut cream. Everything was delightful… Gio was the best server. Will be back!

The food is incredible. The Butter Krab Roll was unreal, the Short Rib & Truffle Dumplings were packed with flavor, and the Caribbean Salmon Pizza is a must. Everything came out fast, fresh, and perfectly presented.
But what truly set this visit apart was the service. Anahi was attentive without hovering, knowledgeable about the menu, and made perfect recommendations. She kept everything flowing smoothly, made sure drinks were refilled, and created such a welcoming vibe at the table.
You can tell when someone genuinely cares about the experience they’re giving their guests, and she absolutely does.
The food is amazing, but the service is even greater.

All of the food here was 10/10. I’ve heard a lot of good things from social media so I wanted to try, and it definitely lived up to all my expectations. The lobster donuts might be the best appetizer I’ve ever had, and the lychee coco martini also is up there for one of my top drinks. The restaurant itself was very easy to get a table at. We made a reservation but definitely did not need one. Great music as well !!!
