The family brought dad for his birthday lunch. As a Valentine’s Day baby it’s hard trying for dinner so lunch it was. First time here and it was fantastic. As a chef and business owner it’s hard for me to find places I truly enjoy due to being somewhat critical while I’m there but from top to bottom the service and food were incredible. Our server was super friendly and attentive and did an amazing job. Mom got the Rubberita with sugar rimmed glass and rubber duckies floating on top and my sister a mule. The food did not disappoint. Dad got a cup of the seafood bisque to start and mom a side salad with blue cheese. My sister got the Girl dinner , mom and dad had two 4oz filets topped with crab meat a housemade béarnaise sautéed spinach and crispy garlic potatoes , my daughter had the chicken quesadilla and I opted for a BYOB and I added American cheese , candied bacon, LTO and Mayo with a side of their Mac salad and a side of Caesar salad. Everything was sooooooo good. So good I hadn’t finished my meal yet and was already thinking about coming back and what I’d get next! 10/10!

We have been coming here for a couple years as kids like it and close to home. Basic menu but food quality was pretty consistent. Last visit with coworkers person with us had a long brown hair in her fries. This happens in every restaurant occasionally so not a huge deal, she just asked for new fries. The waitress gave so much attitude my coworkers agreed they would never go back, and have not. . My sons birthday this week and he wants to go to 235 as loves their fries (without the hair). Short version, we are seated in half full restaurant in a drafty room meant for summer. Burgers and sandwiches take over an hour to be served, not one server checked on table while we waited. Two of the meals are ice cold when finally they came. The worse part was being treated like we did something wrong when we brought up the issues. My coworkers were 100% correct, not going to spend good money in an establishment that feels this is ok.

It’s not surprising that for such a hidden location Pub 235 is so popular. They successfully maintain two separate spaces – a bar and dining room – with unique feels. All areas are wheelchair accessible and the staff worked seamlessly without any hesitation to accommodate. The menu isn’t labeled well for dietary needs but the server was informative. Substitutions were made for gluten free needs, though not in a dedicated space. Unfortunately, one of my dishes was presented with a slice of wheat toast on it.
Servings were substantial and flavors were fresh and flavorful.

The food and service were good here, but the prices are higher than comparable places. I had the chicken and shrimp pasta. 1 small chicken breast and 3 shrimp. $37. I added an additional side of broccoli + $7. I had balsamic vinaigrette with crumbled blue on my salad+ $2. $46 plus tax and tip and it was just shy of $60. No drink. No appetizer. No dessert. Like I said the food was good. But for $60 I expect more. Atmosphere is only a 3 because it was very loud.

The Garlic Parm fries are the best French fries in Rochester. The sandwiches are all delicious from their burgers to their paninis and their steak sandwiches. The cocktails are enjoyable, and the wait staff is always kind. We love coming here!

12/4/24: I was amazed at the high quality of the food at Pub 235! The offerings were extensive yet not so much that they couldn’t prepare what they offer at a high quality. The service was great. The atmosphere was posh & fitting of a Village of Webster eatery nowadays. The parking lot had numerous Porsches, BMWs, Genesis, & Audis. That surprised me too. There’s so much money in Webster. I’ll go back to this restaurant & start ordering take away items too. I was quite happy at this village eatery. They even had a warm, welcoming bar area.

The service was great. I ordered the fish fry and it was very greasy, more than I would have expected. Fries were fine. My husband’s broiled fish was kind of tasteless and fishy. The seafood bisque was just bland.

We stopped in while visiting family and were seated right away around 530PM. Everyone was friendly, portions are huge, and the food was good. We ordered buffalo chicken rolls, a turkey wrap, and their prosciutto pasta.
There is a patio area with seating, bar seating/high tops, and a smaller dining room with lower tables.
Our server seemed pretty busy on a Monday evening and didn’t check on us after food was brought, but was friendly.

My wife and I had drinks last night. She had a dirty martini and I had a makers Manhattan. Bartending is often overlooked so I wanted to say that the drinks are always great and kudos to the bartenders. We shared the bruschetta which we have had many times and was excellent. We also shared the pub 235 burger but we always add an egg and ask forlorn pretzel roll. It stands up better than the regular roll and it is still soft. Great job last night!

Small place and is often very busy. Service and all is good. Prices are high but has a really nice feel and vibe. The bruschetta here is the best I’ve ever had at any restaurant. It’s stuck with me. I also hear amazing things about the anchors. Our meals were really solid and everything was so tasty. Definitely will be back for more!
