Pub 212 is not a fine dining restaurant or a fast food place. We take pride in preparing most everything from scratch in our small kitchen. Our burgers are never frozen, we hand-batter our fish and chicken, make our own dressings, and we slow roast meats to slice for our meals. Because our kitchen is small, it might take a bit longer to get your food when we’re busy.We also don’t have a large staff like the big chain restaurants. Our cooks work hard, often alone, to make sure your meal is just right. Pub 212 has been serving the community of Damascus for the last two decades serving up comfort food with a family-friendly atmosphere. Local favorites such as fresh, never-frozen burgers, the Bloody Mary Bar, and Happy Hour keep gues…

after many years, my wife and I went in for breakfast this time I had a nice talk with staff. Breakfast was great the price was fair.
The resturant owners and family were going though some rough times. Yes I am going from a 1 star to a 5 star. Thank you for reading.
Better food and service at Shari’s,
First time eating there, was drawn in by the Prime-rib special. When we arrived at 6:40 pm, there were about 4 tables being used the rest still had dishes on them. We were not sure weather we should wait to be seated to just sit down so we waited until we saw another family (Large size group) come in behind us and just sit down. When I asked I was told, they needed to clean the tables, so we sat and waited. Then the younger server, who also told us to just sit down, went past us and waited on the other table. We waited 20 minutes before the older more polite server realized we had been waiting so long (at this point, I was timing it, because I was honesty about ready to get up and walk out with my wife).
When the older waitress finally came back, we told her we were disappointed with getting skipped, we told her that we already knew what we wanted to order, the Prime-rib special. She politely told us it was sold out and then asked what we would like to drink. At this point, I still should have gotten up and walked out, but I thought there was a chance the food might be really good and this lady was nice. We got water, which took another 15 minutes. When she finally returned my wife and I went and order the, “Gary’s choice” which was supposed to be Rib-eye 12oz for $19.95 and and they were out of bake potatoes (No biggie on the potatoes) we then waited another 40 minute for our food and when it arrived, my wife had asked for Au jus sauce and horse radish, but never got it. never had or water refilled either. The steak were absolutely ridiculous, If they were even really Rib-eye. It was tough, hard to chew and loaded with fat, and not marbleizing fat like Rib-eye has. These steaks were more like the type I would get with my eggs in the morning. Never again will I eat her. And for the younger waitress she was just rude from beginning to end. For the record, I did leave a $5.00 tip which was more then I should have left.
