We ordered the kalua pork and chicken katsu. Both very good with big portions and delicious sauces! Husband really loves the Kalua pork as it has a slight smoky flavor. Katsu is crispy. Toddler also approves both of these entrees!

Traditional Hawaiian style plate lunch meals served in an authentic style Hawaiian Restaurant. BASIC decor, great smell coming from kitchen, clean, couple tables, and greeted with a smile. Chicken Katsu moist and tender. Kalua pork and cabbage very tender with a good Smokey flavor, cabbage had a crisp crunch to it and wasn’t soggy. Macaroni salad was good and did not have an overpowering can tuna flavor. Crab rangoons were amazingly crispy and stuffed full. Portions were large and pricing was fair. Just got back from Hawaii visiting family and have been craving a good plate lunch. Good selection of Flan, what looked like house made ice cream, and personal sized cake desserts. Everything tasted amazing. Thank you very much. I don’t know if you have ALOHA brand Shoyu packets because I didn’t ask but, that’s the only thing I would have added to my rice. Food made it 15min drive home and didn’t lose quality.

Absolutely delicious! The food was freshly prepared and served to our table in a timely manner. The food that was supposed to be hot was hot, and the cold food was cold! Everyone working was friendly and willing to answer any questions I had regarding the menu. The menu had a variety of options, all of which sounded wonderful. I ended up going with the three meat entrée with spicy orange sauce, white rice, & macaroni salad as well as an order of their crab rangoons (some of the best crab rangoons I’ve ever had, might I add). I will be going back soon to try their homemade flan and ice cream desserts!

The staff is the nicest — every time we come in, they treat us like family. They’ve even surprised us with freebies before (last time we got a whole extra entrée!). The food is great, especially if you’re craving classic Hawaiian meats and a mac salad. Highly recommend if you want great food, generous portions, and the warmest service!

I grabbed the lunch special, a teriyaki bowl with fried rice, and it was amazing! The chicken was tender on the inside but crispy on the outside. The broccoli was perfectly cooked and the sauce was delicious! This was by far the BEST teriyaki chicken I have ever had! It came with plenty of food on the lunch special! I had already eaten a lot when I took this picture! I highly recommend giving it a try for yourself! I can’t wait to go back!

Awesome place! We were greeted warmly, shown the daily specials and all the tasty options in general. Everything was so good and definitely made to order, even the spam musubi which was delicious too. We were treated like regulars and will definitely be coming back to become true regulars.

It’s been a while since I last visited, and I’m so glad I came back! The restaurant has a new name now – Pualani – but the food and service are still just as amazing as before. They’ve also added some new dishes: the Pualani Chicken is tender, flavorful, and absolutely delicious, and the Bacon Wrapped Shrimp is super tasty with just the right kick of spice. Definitely worth trying if you’re looking for something new!
